Just wondered if anyone has used these guys to sell a watch?

I’ve received a reasonable offer from Iconic however, Chronext have offered me a commission based sale which would give me back slightly more than the Iconic offer.

Appreciate that I could be waiting for a while for the watch to sell rather than taking the cash from Iconic but just wondered if anyone has any experience with these guys so I could add that to the decision making process?

Sold a fair few watches through them and have one of my Panerai's currently listed with them.. They offer more via their commission sale than most other UK based operators. Once they have taken their 19% cut it still works out more than what WF etc.. would have offered.

The downside is they are slow, very slow! Takes them an age to get the watch up and listed and then when it does sell they have to wait a few weeks in case it is returned and then after that a few more weeks before the money arrives in your account.. after chasing each week.

Thanks for the info, I’m not desperate for the cash so might be worth it

Bumping this thread; has anyone had any recent experiences of selling through Chronext?

I am happy with the price they have offered me for the watch, but the lack of contract and paperwork regarding the collection, shipment and subsequent pay out for the watch has me a little worried.
