45mm case (too big for me) and a really cool strap buckle.

Picked up this little 2003 Seiko 7T62-0cx0 last week for £50, with box and papers.

Anyone fancy a Richard Mille homage? $230 on Gearbest:

I would ‘take one for the team’ and get it but I need to sell a couple first.

Also, back from Joe Horner (Variomatic) is my BT automatic. This one was in a bunch of watches I bought for pennies, sold a couple on, so this owes me nothing (plus Joe did a good deal on the repair. The rotor kept coming off. )

I like a good homage me! I draw the line when they are a blatant copy. I bought 2 off eBay that were 'homages' to the Millgauss & a Daytona and I couldn't really wear them it just felt wrong. This RM one is nice, it is a nod to RM but not a blatant rip off - the strap for starters is distinctly different. Like it smile

These 3 beauts for £21+£5 shipping!

Delighted! Yes, the slava and the vostok amphibia are both automatics too! The cccp/usa mad thing is actually a very rare design of the classic raketa big zero with a very nice 2609HA movement. Chuffed to bits with my haul... Will probably look to move on the oddity, but the 2 autos are pretty cool... Had to Google Cyrillic shorthand for days of the week on the slava! Lol

Think I'm happy with my collection for the moment... A watch for every occasion there!
I'm so glad I've found this thread... Would never have discovered Russian watches without it. My whole bottom row in my box is vintage russian and combined, they cost me the grand total of just over £100!

Cheers guys, been plenty of inspiration on here! I've told myself I won't look at watches on ebay for a while, but I know that won't last!

I wasn't buying any more for a good while after the Chinese sinobis and the purchase of a Steinhart OVM in the last couple of months.
Unfortunately I had a beer eBay interface last night and used paypal interest free credit to buy something I can't show off on this thread.
That's it now!

I got my vintage red/brown leather strap in today, intended for my red dial slava... The strap isn't the colour is was expecting... And I'm not sure if it's better than the original steel bracelet? I have a few steel bracelets, so wouldn't mind wearing it on the leather for a change, but can't decide if it looks better or worse? What do you think guys? Either way, £7 for watch and £6.99 for strap, it's a bargain, well in keeping with this thread.

I decided to stick the old slava bracelet on the raketa perestroika watch and really like it on there, so the red leather is staying with the slava!

I like it. Funky strap for a funky watch.
