It's the Speedmaster I've always lusted after.

Back on thread from now on.

The Parnis 200m is a reasonable imitation, although it’s not as sleek as the Seamaster 300 with the Eta 2892 movement.

I like them both: the Parnis stands up well to any comparison.
Any pointers as to where did the parnis from? Thanks

Seller was Watchery2016 on eBay.

I have bought three from him, a friend one, all have arrived safely and promptly from PRC.

They are packed in styrofoam boxes. Don’t expect fancy packaging!

All three are well chunky.

Parnis isn’t just one factory - it’s an umbrella name given to many products from various places. Quality can vary.

All mine keep excellent time. Photos below, apologies to this who have seen them before.

I have no complaints about the quality of the finishing. The deployant strap on the 300m diver was not to my taste and was swapped out for a NATO, and now a nicer leather strap.

Some other photos of the Panerai homage are included FYI.

I haven’t taken any of them in water and don’t plan to.

Hope this helps. Any questions just ask.

Another one in the paularies bandwagon. I've gone for the Casino Royale / Jeremy Clarkson spec

I have ten watches now, at what point do I stop buying anymore? Is it a disease? Can you have too many watches??

It certainly looks good. What’s the quality like?

So far so good. Seems quite well made for the money.

Nice... I'm probably going to get another couple in different colour combos. Mine keeps the best time out of all my watches. It's right up there with my accurist Miyota OS60 quartz, which is remarkable for a cheap Chinese auto!

I really like the look of that. I might have missed it, but how much was it? And from Watchery2016 on the Bay?

I paid €85.

He has one left at €98.

Item number 183586827522.

It’s a nice chunky thing: elements of the Seamaster, the PloProf, the Doxa Shark, a bit of Rolex in the bezel, but all in all one of their more successful designs. I like it a lot.

Thanks. At 43mm it might be a bit big for me.

Most welcome.

It doesn’t feel too big on the wrist - the lugs are 23mm so it’s in proportion, if that makes any sense.

The only downside is that the self-winding rotor is a bit rattly.

Because I needed another watch (I've 11 already... and a pocket watch boxedin ) I've gone an ordered one of these, the first automatic in my collection.

Ingersoll "The Hatton" I01302. RRP of £385, but on sale as I believe it's the last of the stock, so warrants its place in this thread at a cost of £154.

More photos once it arrives!

Thanks Bobberoo! I have posted in this thread a long time ago - March 2018 (page 6 of 84 on the forum layout I'm using), and there are photos of most of my collection posted back then.

I've quietly followed the thread since then with nothing to add, despite many catching my eye. Until now, of course.

Casio World Time A500WA-7DF, number 2. Five alarm clocks, 24 hour stopwatch. Perpetual monthly calendar until 2099,with no short month faff. :-)

£21 from Creation Watches, with cheerful red velour pouch. Grey bezel model.

Thinks it's in Paris:

I love those retro Casio's, but I know if I bought one I wouldn't wear it!!! I am contemplating either another Fossil Q hybrid as I'm really impressed with the one I have, or there's a rather nice Seiko SKX009 on Creation Watches site which is in budget!!!!
