I’m in the UK on an opera job in the new year (Omicron permitting!) so maybe a group opera night out could be in order?
That would be amazing, truly hope we can make this happen!!!

Well, to celebrate the unexpected opening of our show in Vienna I got the Tissot PRX Quartz.

New these are €355

I got it used (only worn 5 times, apparently) for €250 including shipping. So just over thread budget. I will report back when it arrives at Barchetta Towers in Frankfurt.

Stock photo. Mine also has the blue face.

Oh, and one from the show. Captions welcome!:

Lovely watch that, but it's not worth a whole hand!!!

Anyone here own a steel dive Willard? Any opinions?

I am a huge Seiko fan but considering buying a steel dive as a daily.

Thanks

Personally I think they're an excellent watch at a sensible price, the bracelet is way better than the Seiko equivalent, keeps great time, wears really nicely, get one you really won't regret it!!

I'm sold. Is Alibaba OK to purchase from? I assume they will add additional shipping charges maybe?

Thanks again
Unless you're outside of the UK I'd strongly advise using the above Steeldiveuk.com site!!

AliExpress is just fine, any issues and there's no messing, they refund, no pratting about with returns either. I think that's down to National pride and the concept of 'Face'.
I'd echo the points about AliExpress. I've had no issues at all with them. Only thing to bear in mind is that there's often a wait so no good if immediate gratification is your thing.
Based on this thread's recommendation, I have nine straps and four bracelets en route from Ali Express with no idea when to expect delivery of any of them. All adds to the excitement!

One of them is supposedly a genuine Alligator strap for my (way over budget) Panerai that owes me £50 versus the £300 OEM item. The tension is almost unbearable. I blame Bad Bob for starting this topic.

I do love ana-digi watches. A full lcd analog face is my preference but my personal unicorn watch (I won't say 'grail' - that's for the powerfully built directors' thread) is this...

Unobtainium both for price and availability. So I'm happy to just look at the pics!

Well I know I'm definitely not getting a watch this Christmas, although one of my cheap Casio's is due next Thursday and my watch box is due Monday, is anyone else hoping/expecting a watch for Christmas?
