I've got a very similar strap I like, but you have to remove the bars to replace it which I don't like.

agree on both counts. bloody bargain for £6. I bought a green with red stripe for the Tudor but unfortunately it doesn’t really work/look great; at £6 though it’s not too much of a hit and it may suit something in the future.

Yea the only downside, the MN seems to sit somewhere between a nato and ‘normal’ strap but the hardware doesn’t allow the strap to be slid out, something to bear in mind if you’re not one for removing spring bars.

Well its arrived an I really like it, bracelet is a bit jangly but it sits nicely on the wrist and for 40 quid I can't complain.

Been on a cheap watch renaissance recently as my trusty old Eco Drive isn't charging properly with the lack of daylight - bought a Phoibos quartz diver on the recommendation of Just One More Watch on YT, got totally stiffed on the delivery and ended up being refunded, I was beelin'!
So bought a Citizen quartz during black Friday for £75 with the express intention of removing the bracelet and sticking it on a NATO - what a ballache that was! Bit bigger than my usual but accuracy/legibility was what I wanted, fairly pleased with it.

And again on black Friday, based on another Jody/Just One More Watch review, and against my usual sensibilities, I bought a Pagani Designs submariner-esque homage - Miyota auto, sapphire glass, ceramic bezel, arrived in 10 days, absolutely zero lume, all for £45. Its fairly bloody accurate so far and the quality is very decent except for the safety clasp on the bracelet - it fell off as soon as I lifted it out of the box, one of the holes is too big and the springbar goes too far through frown They're trying to offer a partial refund I think, hard to tell? I've asked for a replacement part or to return for a refund, it's useless with a duff clasp.

Quite liking the look of this microbrand launching in a month's time for
a 189 Euros early bird price.

The £55 Orient, not looking too out of place at Monte Carlo marina.

It seems to gain 18 secs/day, which I will accept.

Personally on the Pagani I'd look for a partial refund and fit a strap to it , plenty of aftermarket ones around

Different style, but my Orient is one of my favourites. The quality is excellent.

Really really like this watch with only one caveat - the logo. If only it was more minimalist and stylish. It is the only thing stopping me from buying probably quite a few of their watches.

I hadn't really noticed it either way to be honest. If it irritates you it perhaps always would, but a shame to let the logo put you off some nice watches.

The budget was a slight consideration (!) but I chose this over a similar Longines.

I know but I was wanting a watch with a bracelet - not a huge fan of leather straps and not convinced a sub-a-like is at its best on my usual NATO go too, but it'll probably end up one!

[quote=bingybongy]Two new ones.
Seiko mecaquartz movement very nice finishing great strap.
£43

One of the screw pins fell out today depositing the watch on the floor as I took my coat off.
I then discovered the threads on the pins were about 1mm long.
Bracelet removed and now on a NATO.

Just been searching for this online and despite my logo issues I am tempted! Such a nice looking thing. Best of their offerings for me.

Reminiscent of a 50's or 60's Omega Seamaster.

I know what you mean. I had a mild Longines Conquest itch, and scratched it with the Orient above.

Haha. It won’t stay scratched for long.

So many cheap watches, so little time.

My orange Seiko Prospex is going up for sale a a bit too orange and trendy for a fat numpty like me.

There’s a rather wonderful 1959 Rolex Submariner on eBay.de at the moment that I‘m watching but I fear it might go slightly above thread budget.

Hopefully my quartz TAG Heuer GMT - which definitely was within thread rules - will arrive this week.

Hopefully it will do better than my modded Seiko from Australia, which made it as far as the local sorting office where I paid the vat of £24 online only for it to disappear from view. Useless wkers.

Going with the Seiko Chronos from a few pages back here's a gift from my dad, unexpected and quite surprising as he has no real interest in watches. I'd never have gone for a chrono but I really love this one, I'm sure in no small part as it is a gift from dad and that means a lot. Put on a Watchgecko MN strap pretty quickly (excuse the sock) and next to my SNK805, the Flightmaster is quite large

Damn you internet, x2 watchgecko straps inbound bit of a bargain at the moment at £6 each.
Yes, thanks for the heads up on these. They’re very comfy.
