Sorry, new to this posting malarkey, I pasted the link into Bing (Google is blocked where I live) and that linked to it. I know nothing about watches, but enjoy browsing this thread, which led me pull the trigger on this exquisite piece of horology, which will not be used as a daily beater (I have a Simbolo For that) but rather reserved for special occasions.

Full house on the buzzword bingo there.

My Orient Sun and Moon V3 arrived today from America and I am very pleased with it. 199 Pounds and 99 pence excluding delivery.
The strap is hideous though, ill be looking for a nice brown leather strap in the new year.

It's amazing what watches you can pick up for less than £200. Some of the pieces in this thread are lovely smile

And, for full cringe, the pic in front of the steering wheel.

That is really nice, how does the "sun/moon" complication work? Is it a moonphase, or just a day/night thing?
There is a rose gold version on Creation atm but it just doesn't look the same.

In other news, my €68 Tag Heuer quartz GMT has arrived and after 20 minutes with a Cape Cod cloth and microfibers looks pretty good.

Annoyingly I don’t have the correct battery to swap and test it - however the innards look OK and free from water damage which is a good sign.

The previous owner was obviously a smoker. Christ, the leather strap stank. Straight in the bin.

Currently on a chunky 20mm from the strap pile.

Unfortunately it's just a day/night phase rather than a literal "moon phase" complication, which is understandable considering the low price tag.
The rose gold is beautiful, I didn't spot it until i had purchased the silver (steel) version though.

Cannot upload image as thumbsnap.com is playing about again .
I have just blagged a Pulsar NX14 off Facebook market place , was up for £50 then reduced to £30 and my offer of £20 blagged it .
With original box and spare links .
Stuck a couple of batteries in it and it all works .
Another one to sit on the desk top that probably won't be worn because I already have a 40 year old Pulsar Y652 9020 that was my first decent watch bought new .
.

Merry Christmas budget watchers! I ducked out of this thread after purchasing my £5 RAF replica (never did change the strap), but since buying a Volvo I have discovered a love for all things Scandinavian so I asked the chubby bearded gentleman dressed in red for this:

It is, er, not Scandinavian but you can see the influence, particularly from Skagen. It’s a Meller Denke all black, and I’m very pleased with it!

Best £20 secret santa ever!!
Love it! Quite complicated to set up, but absolutely delighted with it... I travel quite a bit, so world time zone function will come in handy. My new daily I think, til the next one!

Seen a few mods online already that I'm considering!

Love cheap casios... So functional and effortlessly cool.

I'm looking at getting a Casio G-shock as a watch for work/getting bashed around. I like how well priced they are and the look of them, like you say they are effortlessly cool.
