Sounds stupid question, but i want to change strap. I notice there are different sizes, how do you check as the spec doesn't say, just measure I guess?

What is the best strap removal tool?

Not stupid at all, i only learned about it all from the chaps on here!! Yep measure across the inside of the lugs, most straps i've bought have come with the required tool to remove the strap, if you need one i have a couple spare, just PM me and i'll pop one in the post to you!!

sorry missed this. It is a The Pulsar Accelerator PX3205X1. Even though it is cheap, i just can't bring myself to wear it daily as the quality is very good.

As posted in other thread.

Not being an arse, but what's the point owning it if you won't wear it. Like you said it's cheap, but even if it was 10k you still have to be able to wear it or its just an ornament.

my job is manual it would get scratched and I like to keep it tidy. I'm going to get a new strap for my pepsi pulsar which will be my daily..i bought 3 watches so have choice. I guess if i was in an office it would be but it would be a shame now as i want to look after the watch even if it is cheap, These are the start of my collection...

I haven't tried the Bergeon one, but I have seen that brand recommended quite a few times. I've had cheap ones before and they tend to break or be too thick to use properly. At the moment I use a small sharpened screwdriver.

I've posted this one before, but I can't stop wearing it at the moment. I should hate this watch as it is quartz and a remake of a watch that long pre-dates quartz. And it has a bund strap, which I used to consider a bit weird.

That's very cool the way the crystal goes all the way across the case. I haven't seen that before.

A reasonably nice Fila quartz chronograph with a Miyota movement.

Effectively free as it came (broken) in a job lot, looks ok with a new Watch Gecko strap and a new battery!

Invicta Pro Diver - or would that be best watch less than £100?
You could consider the Orient Mako II for a budget of around £100. Automatic movement, 200m diver and a well thought of brand amongst watch people.

I don't have any experience with Invicta. Most of their divers watches seem to be very big apart from their Rolex Sub copy.

Yeah some Invicta watches are big......example my Grand diver.
Couple of mods got rid of the Cyclops and fitted some MM style hands.

The Orient Ray is an excellent watch. Very good value.

Well below the budget level:

The Mako is nicer to my eye and just below budget:

Not my pictures but I have the green version of the Mako. It really is a nice watch but over budget for this thread.
