My wife was out at an Ann Summers party on Saturday night (didn't know they were still a thing) and after a couple of bottle of Merlot, I bought a Zeppelin. Thankfully the watch not the airship.

Came in at £191 with the extra discount. Quite pleased with my drunken purchase!

Curious to know what the extra button above the crown is for?
It's to set the Day, the date is set with the crown wheel, I have the orange bezel version which I think looks good on a tan leather strap

I got mine through the amazon global store, took about a week to get here from the USA. I also went through top cashback and got another 10% off so ended up paying about £108.

These use the older non winding/hacking movement hence the button to change the day. My standard blue Mako has the same movement but with a screw down day adjust pusher which I wish Orient had included on the XL. Apart from this the XL a great watch for just over £100.

Not at all, I really don't understand the whole "you must know everything about the wrist candy you're displaying" attitude, if you like it and it's (relatively) in budget feel free to join in, there's no airs or graces here just a bunch of weirdos who like watches of a certain price bracket!!!

I sold this one as I really hated the bracelet and there wasn't enough room to fit a nato

Wouldn’t it be clever it it was a lock for the bezel, then there is no risk over over boiling your egg (or running out of air/getting the bends...)

Haha. I have an old g-shock for timing eggs. It is it's only purpose in life now. Permenantly sits on a shelf in the kitchen. Never failed me yet! I'm sure it would be a big hit if Casio brought out a limited edition Cooking version.

Looking good! Fun tinkering. I'm looking for strap inspiration on mine. Only removed the World Time and illuminator decals so far. Bought these in the Jan sales for less money combined than my recent Gecko leather strap for my Omega!
