I know I'm not supposed to be buying anything at the moment but a watch I've coveted since it's release has come up on Ebay for a really good price, it will be over thread budget but if I win it I'll post pics!!!

So was I on the frogman but seeing as I had a 10% of voucher on ebay it would be a shame to waste it.

And so I have an incoming.....

My drunken purchases over the weekened on ebay...

Which I'm quite pleased with ^^^ Brand new with tags, £36 delivered. Awaiting delivery with baited breath.

And this...

Which for a tenner, might be a bit of fun. Or crap. Apparently a 1940s Luftwaffe replica. Yeah, right. Again, apologies for the poor quality pic, lifted from the listing.

If they are the eaglemoss ones the quality is pretty much terrible, i've never heard such a loud ticking from the two i have.

If anyone wants a crappy Pam copy with marks inside the glass or a fifty fanthoms copy with flimsy hands your welcome!

I've got two as well, they're thrown in a drawer purely because the bin was further away.

I've been thinking about a Marlin for a while and when he said blue..... Well I thought done deal.
Till I looked on the linked page. Went for black and gold in the end as it's a combo I don't already have in other watches.
You saved yourself a quid!
Just as a warning, if you google Casio Duro you get a very, very good price from a site called inclacs.com, its a scam, soooo many red flags when looking at the site, I’ve sent them an email asking questions if I get a reply I’ll post it up...

On the upside I have something incoming (still working on how I’ll sneak it in as I’ll be picking it up with my supergrass son!) pros... have three pieces selling on ebay, cons I’ve already had 3 new watches this year, I suppose it’s really only one more watch then...

It’s just over 1/10th of the thread budget, made by a major manufacturer, has additional functionality than just time, from national retailer, slightly unsure of exact strap/bracelet and sizing but either way it will be fine...I’ll post it up when I get my mits on it...

Well f my luck just seen an email cancelling my order as no stock, went on the website and one minute it’s there the next no pick and the price trebles. Not scam just kin useless.

Anyhoo, fell back in the arms of my favorite pawn site (stop sniggering at the back) and have a Seiko 5 sports field watch on the way, will need to rotate something out for it though...

I bought another, I wanted something chunky to wear everyday. Well under thread budget, doesn't feel quite the steal that the christopher ward does
I don't like the strap colour so that will get changed, thinking a dark grey suede will work nicely.

After selling an old laserdisc player the other day I've got £200 burning a hole. Inevitably I started looking at watches and came across this Inox titanium on txmaxx at bang on thread budget. Same watch is £450 everywhere else so this is quite appealing and I like the look of it. I love Victorinox products but are their watches any good?
It’s been discussed from page 129 ish in this very thread including a purchase (for 10 mins) of a TK titanium. YouTube is full of reviews on their watches too.
There are steel ones available 2nd hand for £200 and less than that to import from the us new.
I like my stainless one.
I decided against the titanium version and found a full stainless green dial on Amazon Global for £198 including priority shipping which I ordered last night. These are a bit pricey in the UK for a 3 hand quartz but get a lot of good reviews so looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.

If it’s a VictorINOX it’s got to be stainless...

Excellent taste if I do say so myself wink

Will also look cracking on olive green NATO.
