The incubation period should give you enough time to get it posted.

My three hand "gmt" Vostok arrived , expected full on Russian jankiness but it's a nice piece imo, has a certain charm, took off the bracelet and tried a few straps and have settled on a bund for now

I succumbed and bought one. Ah well.

I’ve put 5 up for sale as a job lot so that’s ok. Kind of.

I’d like a better photo of that strap, if possible??

Thanks

::EDIT:: google has told me what a Bund strap is!

Can I just sneak this in? It was only the £15 postage that pushed it over £200. 1960s I think Chronographe Suisse. I was lucky to find it at that price on a Spanish ebay listing.

yes we have started to operate a "flexible" approach to the price!!! nono just as long as it's not taken over by powerfully built company directors all showing the same three watch brands over, and over, and over, and, oh I think you get the idea!!!!

I did cheekily post a Longines at just over 2x thread budget a while back, but just about got away with it as new they are 6x thread budget and any of mine that cost more than £200 get ‚subsidized‘ by flipping other watches that I acquire!

Bobbers, thread founder and self-appointed Guardian of the Thread Rules, fortunately has adopted a thoroughly common-sense approach to what should and shouldn’t be on this corner of the forum!

Nice choice, I have one of those I picked up from the Tissot store on 5th Avenue in New York last June. I've put mine on a nice blue leather strap, the face looks great in the sun.

Not sure how long it'll be permitted in here though hehe

Cheers, I had a look yesterday on YouTube and was surprised how many videos there are on it.

Any potential confrontations regarding another watch were bravely dealt with by hiding the packaging and wearing the watch under a long sleeved top.
Eventually my line of: “It’s just an old Seiko Diver I’ve had for years” is going to fail.

Now that is just lovely, the colour of the dial is stunning!!! My next purchase is likely to be a Tissot, but a T-Classic perpetual calendar though!!!

This is what happens when you get sucked into the world of watches. You either go cheap and get lots of them over time, or you save up for one or two big purchases. I've pretty much gone for the former as I get just as much pleasure from a cheap Russian or vintage piece as I would from something costing more,

This? To be honest, that’s absolutely fantastic for the money.

That’s it, but what I’ve now found if you select the different pattern name like suit prices go down to £165 on silicon amongst various selections there’s at least 6 under £200...
