I bought another, I wanted something chunky to wear everyday. Well under thread budget, doesn't feel quite the steal that the christopher ward does
I don't like the strap colour so that will get changed, thinking a dark grey suede will work nicely.

So some more eBay money was burning a hole and I was looking for a Seiko. Went off on a bit of a tangent and ended up buying one of these apeks divers which is powered by a Seiko movement. They appear to be well quite well regarded in the watch community but I'll post up my opinion when it arrives tomorrow.

I've read about these and they're great value for money and very well regarded. I almost justified one to myself for work when taking the boat out as none of my already owned, more expensive divers watches are up to the job Bobberoo99 said:
Looks good, 500m is a bold claim!!
I thought about getting the 1000m version with a helium valve but my desk isn't deep enough. There's a number of different brand names on the same watch, cressi, tauchmiester etc. The apeks brand is mainly sold in dive shops and apparently they are known to be used by actual divers. The specs look really good for the £97 I paid so I'm quite looking forward to seeing this.

Post some decent photos when it arrives. I’d love to see what it looks like!

Another name they are marketed under is Divex. This is an interesting story from Hodinkee about one of the 200m watches.

Apeks diver has arrived and it's surprisingly solid and well finished. It's a 45mm case but wears smaller on my 7.25 inch wrist and feels just right. I'm trying to find negatives with it but there really aren't any and I'm fussy about details. It even came in a decent box. For £97 with next day delivery it's a bit of a bargain.
