It looks mint on that mesh strap.
I haven't got a significant bday for a couple of years but this Corona ste has got me thinking.
I have some money, rainy day, oh st money that I've stashed over the years it makes me comfortable knowing it's there.
It's not a fortune but I could keep the mortgage paid for a year or so.
Any road. I have always wanted an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra.
Should I buy one?
I probably will, a nice 2nd hand will be about 3k.
If it's not going to leave you short or worried do it, sometimes you just have to say stuff it!!! It looks mint on that mesh strap.

Bulova is a quality brand and that's a great looking watch. It wouldn't suit me as it's quite large, but I reckon you can pull it off Bobbers.
The Gigandet G7-008 is of a similar style and can be had just within thread budget, but I think the Bulova would be worth the extra money. I have a similar Gigandet that I bought when they were cheaper and the quality isn't all that great.

I decided to go ahead and buy an aqua terra last week, got what I thought was a great deal from an AD (nearly 25% off) I have been used to slightly bigger watches so when it arrived I was taken aback by how small 41mm intially seemed. After a short time I had got used to it and the details is what I noticed between my Longines and the Omega. The applied indices and logo really play with the light and almost sparkle.
As some one else said if you have the funds in savings and you won't be affected by it then go for it.

I'll make this my last post about buying an Omega as I don't want to derail what is my favourite PH corner.I decided to go ahead and buy an aqua terra last week, got what I thought was a great deal from an AD (nearly 25% off) I have been used to slightly bigger watches so when it arrived I was taken aback by how small 41mm intially seemed. Could I ask what Dealer you got that sort of deal off as that makes buying used a bit of a crummy idea.

You should be able to negotiate a decent discount on a Aqua Terra , i got 13% off a Planet Ocean last week so do the maths and see whether it's within reach to buy a new one or have a good look on chrono24 for deals
Dealer or grey dealer?I'm a huge fan of Breguet watches and the Classique line, in my opinion, contains some of the most beautiful watches available.
I however, am poor, so saving up the £15k (min) for one would involve my family taking a reduction in living standards that I'm not willing to effect.
Enter AliExpress, specifically, the Carnival C8019. I've deliberated for a while over this as I've seen no reviews, even on the millions of YouTube watch channels dedicated to the budget offering but eventually got it bought. It arrived today and I'm really pleased. Seagull St17 movement, decoration visible through the case back and a really nice textured / machined dial. The strap is nasty. Horribly stiff but I knew that was going to be the case and am looking in to alternatives.
40mm diameter and fairly short lugs means it fits nicely on my 6.75" wrist.
For the money (£53), it's a lovely looking dress watch and I'm very happy. Might see if I can get some proper moon / breguet hands for it to make it perfect, but that's quite hard.
Anyway - pictures:
