This, I've bought about 10 watches from them. Last one I bought had some issues with the date setting.
They told me to send it back (at my costs), in the end I settled on a 15 EUR refund frown

Where are people buying watch spares from that isn't Fleabay? Got 3 movements I could do with replacing that aren't on there. Flipside is just got 5 movements for £3 for one of my others that needs one. Yay China.

Ok then, vote time, Steeldive Captain Wilard or Orient Makoll? I really can't decide, I really fancy something with a Pepsi bezel but I'm not going to pay the Seiko tax to but one, and yes I know the Steeldive doesn't have a Pepsi bezel but it's a toss up between the two watches!!!
How about this, I can’t remember if you have something similar
https://www.timeshop4you.co.uk/watches/citizen/NY0...
The Orients from creation look good value, or get a steeldrive and change the bezel insert.
How do you change the bezel insert? I quite like the look of the Orient Rayll but would prefer it with the Pepsi bezel!!! I did look at that Citizen when looking for said bezel colour!!
I'm just about to sell a few watches on ebay including a Samurai with a Pepsi bezel and strapcode bracelet in addition to the rubber strap .

After being unable to revive it myself, got the pros on it today and....

We have life. Apparently the gold Timex is toast but 1 out of 2 is a result. Aide my stupidity, what is the box they use to jump start watches?

CousinsUK, great service but they are aimed at the trade so you need to get your order right as they don’t do returns if you cock it up. I bought a replacement for a seiko, but used the Epson reference it fitted even though it was a bit thicker and relatively saved a fortune.

https://calibercorner.com/ Is a really great reference website.

Well I've just bought a watch on Evilbay for the princely sum of £18.99 (because yeah why not another) combining two hobbies (watches and trains). All I'm going to say for now and I'll piccie when it arrives.

ETA Fossil have a hybrid smartwatch for £132 at the moment if that floats anyone's boat.

Giving this an outing today, I don't wear it often because I'm not a fan of the strap...

Any recommendations? I know I want black leather though.

Dunno, that strap looks pretty perfect for it.

What don’t you like about it? Plasticky?

Pretty much, and it's a bit too plain. Stitching is starting to come loose in places also.

What's the go-to thread recommendation for cheap (but not crap) straps?

I like Geckota but they're pricey, non?
