I bought a parnis and it stopped working after a few weeks . From what I have read there is a lot of variation in quality of assembly
I can only speak from experience. I have two with Miyota quartz movements, two with Miyota auto movements, and the remainder with Seagull movements, which I believe are ETA clones. I had one problem, which was probably my fault, however the seller sorted it out for me anyway. It's quite strange really, the worst watch I ever owned was a Tissot, but many people swear by them TiggerBits said:
I own many watches under £200, in fact most of them are. They vary from Orient, Seiko, Invicta, and Stuhrling etc, all of which offer decent value for money. Controversially perhaps, I believe the best VFM watches are Parnis, a brand some watch enthusiasts love to hate. The watch below has a sapphire window, ceramic bezel, a beautifully crafted 316L stainless case, an excellent bracelet, and a Miyota auto movement. I have several Parnis watches, all of which I am fond of.
I rather like that!! What are the Orient watches like? I see them crop up in my searches regularly, some of them look very nice!!H4r1s said:

I need one of these, is that the SKX013 or SKX007?You can tell the different from the position of the day date, on the 13 it actually cuts into the chapter ring. Also the 007 has the lime on its second hand counterbalance, the 013 it is on the tip with a different design.
