That Invicta is about perfect spec for me. I hate this thread.
What, well-sized, subtle branding, vintage feel, rugged movement and genuine dive ability for £100?It is the best watch they make.
Very tempted but only just had a new watch delivered today, maybe I'll "check" again next week
I wish the lume was a bit less green and either more 'vintage' or more white (and stronger on the dial markers) but I can live with it

Now considering a SRPD53K1 as its apparent replacement model (which looks more like an SKX but can't be considered a replacement for that with only 100m WR)

I really like those new seikos. Amazon has some around the 170-200 mark, although their menu for picking colours is a bit odd and not entirely convinced you’d get the one you asked for! I was looking at the blue faced one with cream markers, nice vintage diver vibe. That or the pepsi.https://millenarywatches.com/seiko-5-srpd53k1-revi...

Any of you guys got experience with zelos watches?
I was pretty close to getting a steinhart ocean one titanium but I've seen a few zelos watches which have grabbed my attention, one is local to me and is pretty much half the price of the steinhart.
They always seem to sell out quickly, although they do the 'limited run / buy early and get a better price!' operating model, with (IMO) inflated 'normal' prices at the end (that no-one ends up paying).I was pretty close to getting a steinhart ocean one titanium but I've seen a few zelos watches which have grabbed my attention, one is local to me and is pretty much half the price of the steinhart.
I think they are well regarded on the WatchUSeek F77 (Divers' watches) forum and I have been tempted myself.
If you can get hold of it for a look, I'd be interested in your thoughts on the quality overall

I might have fallen in love with a different model now.I think they are well regarded on the WatchUSeek F77 (Divers' watches) forum and I have been tempted myself.

I've been offered them by two different people who are now looking at shipping costs.
Everyone really rates them and unlike the steinhart they are their own designs. I figure if I get one and it's not for me they are that popular I can probably move it on without losing money on it.

For every one nice watch Invicta make they turn out a dozen of these monsters. If they separated the two parts of the company, one side into sensible watches and the other side into these daft concoctions and gave them different names I'm sure they would sell more watches overall as many people don't want to be associated with the daft stuff regardless of how well made the others are.
