PH at it's finest! Well done chaps, hope you enjoy the watch.Just searching for a nice strap for the darch.
The Tribute Breitling above is a fake one.
It may well have a value to you but unfortunately not to any one else. bang a battery in it and if it works wear it and enjoy it.

That really would be a result if a fellow threadist had given out a Breitling for free!
In other news, the NH35 movement in my B-Uhr has settled into a scarcely-believable +1 secs/day. This from a $30 movement.
My one year old co-axial Omega movement loses 4 seconds a day every day.In other news, the NH35 movement in my B-Uhr has settled into a scarcely-believable +1 secs/day. This from a $30 movement.

Yeah, I'd be pretty pissed off with that too. In a month or two you'd be in danger of missing your train by a minute FFS. In other news, the NH35 movement in my B-Uhr has settled into a scarcely-believable +1 secs/day. This from a $30 movement.

Well, in a month or two I would be in danger of arriving a minute early for that train, but I get your point. It’s dreadful performance from such a luxury timepiece. Barchettaman said:

Tis a shocker. Perhaps you ought to get into that cringeworthy Rolex thread and offer a comparison...#notserious

Thanks to this thread, I have been looking at watches all week, following my Duro purchase (I am impressed!)
I like the look of some of the Pagani Design watches - what are peoples thoughts please?
I keep having urges for the rose gold on rubber strap Daytona homage, completely and utterly not my thing, but i like it for some bizarre reason. Part of me saying get it and if I don’t like it give it to Mrs 159..I like the look of some of the Pagani Design watches - what are peoples thoughts please?
I've got a pagani aquaracer homage and the watch itself was pretty good but the bracelet just didn't fit the lugs properly.
Even some of the aftermarket straps I've tried didn't sit well innit either so I would say the lugs had been drilled in slightly the wrong place but for £60 I can live with it.

Inspired by Robbie and Barchettaman, I dug this out to wear today. I bought it a few years ago from Watchgecko and I’m sure it was less than £200. I think it’s a Miyota movement - it’s definitely an automatic and it, unfortunately, has a ghost date position.
I bought it as it is so clear to read and different from the repetitiveness of the divers in my collection. However, it wears very large for me and doesn’t get the use it deserves.

Doesn’t look too big at all. Looks pretty blood awesome actually.
I prefer the slightly meatier hands on your watch, but the brushed finish on mine.
Very kind. I like the brushed finish on yours too... I haven’t bashed mine about too much but I bet it would easily scratch. I prefer the slightly meatier hands on your watch, but the brushed finish on mine.
I’ve enjoyed wearing it today...

The £6.40 bracelet for the Duro arrived today. Not bad at all really, end links aren't the best and undercut the lugs ever so slightly. Feels decent enough quality and luckily I had a milled clasp that was the right size (20mm).
Think I may keep it on this for a bit.
I confess I'm not massively keen on bracelets on a diver but it looks better than I expected.Think I may keep it on this for a bit.
I note that your watch has a red second hand, whilst my blue-faced one, a couple of years old now, has a silver one. I rather like the red.

Yeah I'm the same, I do prefer straps really but thought I'd give this one a go, seems to suit it.I note that your watch has a red second hand, whilst my blue-faced one, a couple of years old now, has a silver one. I rather like the red.
Couple of Eco-Drives for way under £200, doubt they'll be around long!

After discovering this thread around 2 weeks ago, my watch collection has gone from 0 to 3!
It started with the Casio Duro, then I discovered Pagani Designs. For those that don’t know, Pagani make ‘homage’ pieces based on other popular models (from what I have seen so far, mostly Rolex)
Ive now picked up a Pepsi, and a white face Daytona, both would require huge investments if I were to purchase the ‘real deal’ - Rolex.
Having never held a real Rolex, and following watching some videos on Youtube, I am really impressed with the quality of the Pagani models. Coupled with not having to worry about theft, insurance or damaging them! They can get worn and I dont need to worry about them.
I am not sure if people class then as ‘fakes’ but as they branded Rolex, I think I am happy with that!
