The under £200 watch thread!
Discussion
Couple of photos.
A new strap from geckota red and black strap, nice quality and suits it well. Not a fan of the nato it came with.
This my Invicta with cyclops removed for cleaner finish on a new geckota metal strap, yes I'm a big fan of geckota straps.. for 68 included strap, a bargain and not bad for the money really. All my Autos have been under 70 quid.

Whats the fake RM like to actually wear, the chunkier models always look like they would actually be annoying on the wrist.
The slimmer models are amazing imo
My guess on price is £100
Fake? FAKE!!!?? It's a bloody real 'Pin Time' watch thank you very much!! The slimmer models are amazing imo

It actually wears very nicely indeed, chunky for sure, but wearable. more comfortable than the TAG I wear rather sadly. The quality is good for the price and it certainly looks the part.
Here is the link.

Do the sub dials actually do anything?

Does anyone know whether a Sugess chronograph with a hand wound Seagull movement would be a sound choice?
Don’t have the resources at the moment for a Citizen Bullhead but I really feel the need for an interesting chronograph
I bought one off the back of this thread. No ideas on whether it'll last long term but for now it's accurate, a great design and interesting to see the movement in action through the case back. Would recommend. Don’t have the resources at the moment for a Citizen Bullhead but I really feel the need for an interesting chronograph

Helm Vanuatu. Slightly over budget but the quality and build for the price merits its inclusion on the thread. I‘m giving it another chance this week to see if I ‘bond’ with it this week, but I think it might be a bit chunky for my tastes. Bloody good though.
If that had Sinn on the dial you wouldn’t question it, x10 the price…reapercushions said:
Surprisingly fantastic quality. The chrono works very well and it’s super heavy / robust.
It had heads turning in the shopping center this morning and a few nice comments.
Wouldn’t wear it near anyone who might ask me to see it up close though
Any guesses on price?
Is it wrong that i really like that??? It had heads turning in the shopping center this morning and a few nice comments.

Is it wrong that i really like that??? Yes, it's a blatent design rip off, bit no more or less than the hundreds of Rolex Sub variants out there.
And at $30.. it's worth it for fancy dress / silly factor alone.
I wouldn't dare wear it anywhere I'd want to have any credibility though so not going on at work!

I have a problem with this one, it’s randomly stopping on me, I reset it, the it’s fine for a couple of hours, then I look for the time, and it’s stopped again…./dailymail sad face/
What level of activity are you undertaking?Sitting at a desk 12 feet from your bed all day 'because CovidWFHForevveeeeerrr' will not give it much charge... lol
If it's stopping while you're being fairly active, though, that would suggest something is not quite right.

My favorite related quote is still:
"My biggest fear is my wife selling my watches for the price I told her I paid for them."
+1!"My biggest fear is my wife selling my watches for the price I told her I paid for them."
My good lady thinks my Oris cost me 84 quid as she only looked at the first bank statement.
She thinks my Alpina cost me 76 quid for the same reason.
The only problem is she wants to wear them as she thinks they are 'cheap'.

And that is why I don't have a joint bank account!
My AliExpress sale purchase is now in the UK so should be with me in the next day or so, as should my most recent purchase which was well over thread budget.
But just about under the bullhead so I'll post a pic when it lands!
