I've tried a couple of straps/bracelets on the Kano since it's been in my ownership but never really been happy with it.
Excellent. In-house movement in that, too. I always thing that if Orients were 5x the price, they would sell twice as many!

Like it, what's the case diameter and quality like?
Case diameter is 40mm.Quality? Well, it's a £100 watch but...
The Good Bits: Seiko movement, sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel and screw down crown (which even has an o-ring seal).
The not so good bits: The strap's a bit cheap 'n cheerful and the bezel action is a bit crude.
But overall, you'd have to spend 4 or 5 times as much to get a similar spec in a name brand watch so you really can't beat these for the money.
Well my latest cheap digital (£8 delivered off AliExpress) has arrived and overall I'm happy with it.
It's by Addie's, which I presume is the non dive watch section of Addiesdive. It's fairly basic but reasonable for the money and I really like the strap it's on.
Now the picture on Ali just shows a blue backlight but it's actually like a disco on your wrist!

Just popped in to say how much I enjoy reading everyone's contributions to this thread. Such a positive, friendly and happy corner of the internet indeed.
I haven't bought or sold any watches for well over a year, but I'm loving all the choices and the pictures (and the opera tales). Wow!
I'm still enjoying wearing my sub £200 Roue watches (SSD One and HDS One on a regular basis, and my sub £200 Seiko SKX013 on occasion. That might need to find a new home at some point, as does my sub £200 and somewhat polarising Welder Moody watch!
Keep up the good work everyone.
