It’s NLD day today so I thought I’d dust off my Spurs Sekonda.

That's a very nice looking piece.

Can you send a pic with it set to 3:01? Just for reference...

biggrin

Kudos, chap! That's what this thread is about biggrin

For what it's worth, yesterday was a flash in the pan. We'll be back to our mid table mediocrity in no time...

Are you a Southampton local wibble cb, or do you just like the pain of constant defeat and uncertainty???

The way things are looking for us at the moment I’m not too confident on doing much better.

The story was that when I was v young, I liked their colours, but I was born/ raised around Reading, not that this much matters anymore as I now live in Toronto!

Well the watch I ordered for my father in law has arrived, and I must say I’m rather chuffed with it. Let’s hope he is too. This certainly doesn’t have the look and feel of a watch that cost £38.24 delivered, and that’s including the additional £12.70 for the presentation box.

2nd working day after ordering my new to me Vostok Komandirskie 350751 arrived (with the all important box and paper -for investment purposes…smile ) I really like it, it’s in cracking condition especially for a touch over £40 delivered.

It feels very different from the scuba dude.

Although it’s not from the Amphibian range it still has 200m WR and even a lumed marker on the bezel

The dial & bezel combo makes it look a bit Luminoxy to me. It came on a light grey silicone band with quick release bars which I’m 99% sure is not original and although nice to wear doesn’t look right in my eyes.

So a few different straps have been tried..
Mesh, but as the case/bezel has no polishing at all I’m not sure, photo dulls down the strap quite a lot

Next a brushed bracelet, but without a taper looks too wide. The watch has 22mm lugs but isn’t that wide -41mm

The Duro strap looks quite good

Black nato

Red nato

I might have a look for a brushed but tapered bracelet or a matt finished mesh. On the other hand a red dive style tapered strap might be nice too.
Not sure which looks best…thoughts?

I think that looks great on the red strap - a bit unexpected and it picks up the red highlight on the dial smile

I think the duro looks good, and the mesh.

Red NATO looks really cool but I never think they feel that great when wearing them

Black rubber Duro or red NATO for me.

Thanks for the replies, funnily enough it has stayed on the red nato wink

I do find that watches end up rotating around my wrist on a nato, possibly a conventional red fabric strap might be good.
