I saw one recently; a new Seiko watch. It's pre-order at the moment with delivery June/July I think. I think it looks great and I might well buy myself one this summer (although not sure it's actually a limited edition):

To be honest that's not a great photo. But you get the idea

Ah I've just noticed your budget is marginally higher than the cost of the Seiko. Probably ignore this then!! If you're going to that sort of budget then the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms is a beauty.

Have you got a model number or link to that one?

Bit of bronze with the blue? Quite hard to come by these two but not impossible.

Come on JJF we've all stepped up to the plate and posted different variety's of 'blue' faced watches, Now you've had time to review ... have you narrowed down a style / size / brand / or price point for us to direct our ideas? smile
No. lol

On a serious note some of these pictures have gave me food for thought and confirmed I need a blue dial. I really like the blue Tudor's. I sen a blue dial Brequet on Hodinkee I fell in love with but too expensive. Keep the post running. I have also found the youtube channel for Watchfinder very good for ideas.

On a side issue I have started seriously looking at Seiko for an everyday watch. The new models haven't hit my local Seiko dealer yet. Apparently the SLA 025 is sold out already.

If you're after a darker blue (you said you wear a lot of navy), this might be worth a look: Nomos Club Atlantic

Currently I have a Rolex Sea-dweller 43mm (diver) and Speedmaster professional moonwatch (chronograph). I suppose I want a blue dial watch with a little heritage like the Monaco, Seamaster and Royal Oak. However the Monaco is a chronograph, the Sea master is a diver and the Royal Oak is expensive.

Any dress and smart watches with a blue dial and heritage I’m missing?

(Or if you’re cheap like me, a homage) Ocean 7 LM-7

At a risk of supporting another posters suggestion over mine,
The Bronze Tudor was something else indeed
The BP FF Bathyscaphe hits both the dress & smart
Ball Bronze - the dial may be black but appears dark blue

More dress & smart sir??

Seiko Presage dress watch with an ice-blue dial:

Complications for date on subdial, and a power reserve hand.
You'd probably need to find an after-market strap.

The sky dweller was on of my first ideas but I seen a black dial one and it looks huge and really thick. I would need to see one on the wrist.

It's not huge at 42mm x 50mm x 14mm, but perhaps the new datejust 41 with a blue face and fluted bezel would better as a dress watch at 12mm deep (approx) they have slimmed down the case compared to the DJII

I really like the DJII and 41 but keep thinking they'd be too small for a day watch as I like a chunky watch but I can't stretch to a sky-dweller
