Is the B.B. GMT likely to become a collectible or is it purely the scarcity driving up demand? I was tempted to order one but ended up with a North Flag instead.

Don't think it will become collectible

laugh My non-Ebay attempts to unload mine suggest some do really want to collect them.... was offered the tempting swap for a 9 carat gold bracelet and a 'mint' 1993 YZ125 crosser earlier. Clearly my punter's life's treasures all for a (very nice) bauble.

Tempted... scratchchin

New model, high demand. Bubble will burst and they'll be plentiful. I'm not sure any mainstream 'affordable' timepiece is likely to be collectable these days unless it's a very limited run indeed.

I think these will do what the Bronze Black Bays did, a little initial interest and then a flood of them.

I've been told mine would't be until October. Cancelled the order and switched to BB58 - still no stock but should be a matter of weeks, not months.

Wondering about doing this myself, the BB58 is more like the 6538 Rolex Submariner I desire.

There's one in a window in a store in Lakeside Essex that they said was available...

Chisolm Hunter have some BB 58 in stock according to their Instagram, that's who I have ordered the BB GMT through.

Which branch? I've had my name down for one in the Silverburn store since mid June, was told mid July and I've heard nothing confused

Tried a GMT on this afternoon, quite nice.

Still don’t like the bracelet but you don’t really see the “rivets” when wearing, plus I’m not a huge fan of the lack of crown guards either but it’s a nice enough watch.

As nice as a GMT Master? Not in my opinion, price not withstanding.

How many people buy a GMT and not use the GMT hand?
A smaller percentage than those buy a chronograph and have no need for/never use the sub dials.

I have a Tudor Heritage BB, how does the GMT compare for size?

I’m mulling Tudor GMT or a dateless Rolex Sub.
