Not that I’m taking commission from a certain Dom H, but I’ll just leave THIS here if someone wants to snap one up - although I don’t know the RRP so I’m not aware how much over list this one is - no waiting list though...

ETA: please someone take this - I’m seriously considering trading my no-date sub for it scratchchin

Seen it on Rolex Forum, few guys have walked in and walked out without ordering. Think one of them was canary wharf.

July 25th i bought the new Tudor GMT. It took about two weeks of waiting and stressing out, when will it get here.
the nit pickers. are they basing everything they see by photos? The rivets look big in photos. Things being enlarged.
honestly, i cannot see the rivets unless i turn my wrist. Then i have to squint really hard. My dad gave me a Rolex in
1967 (the GMT) so i've been wearing a Rolex's for 51 yrs. The crown guard. in all these years the crown guard never
saved my watches from damage. From the DayDate down to the Air King. the bracelet is fine. Being a little over 40
mm thick. i am 5'5" 142 lbs. and i cannot see a problem. Actually i haven't given it much thought. When i am on my
bicycle and glance down, for a second i may as well be looking at my Rolex GMT.
the watch is gaining 1.25 seconds per day. for anybody kicking the idea around about getting the Tudor GMT.
Don't take my word for it, go down to your AD and see how stunning the watch really is. for about $4,400 cheaper
then the Rolex GMT for $9,250
i have noting against Rolex, i'll always several Rolex's. Please, do not go on line to save a few hundred dollars.
My AD tells me every other day someone is coming in with their Tudor saying they have a problem.....

i'v owned my GMT since July 25. just a few weeks. i was on the waiting list for two weeks.
it came from California. So in the meantime i bought the divers watch with the blue strap
and dial. i'd love to write about these two watches if i can figure out how to do it.
for any one who wants the GMT, buy one. so my divers Tudor & the GMT which came
$t $8,300 and i still have $$950.00 in the bank. assuming i was buying the Rolex pepsi
Which there is several year wait.

Yes although some people have walked in shops and found them unclaimed. My July delivery is still nowhere to be seen.

I've had mine since 1st June, I think it was one of the first to land.

I had an email last week from Bristol Frazer Hart to say they were unlikely to be getting stock until oct/november and that Goldsmiths were waiting until the new year.

Funny really as I ordered it for my 30th (October 30th) hoping I'd have it before then, I considered not opening it until then but thought that 5 months was too long to leave it in the box!

I just had a phone call from a local dealer offering me a Tudor GMT.

I’ve said no thank you. I may regret it. The call was unexpected but I’ve always been unsure about the Tudor GMT. Would I like it or loathe it because I really want a Rolex GMT. Also I was looking at the dial and it is very similar to my Seadweller. I have been trying to introduce a little more diversity to my collection.

I’ve fallen in love with the Grand Seiko Snowflake. Argh!! Decisions.

Quite understandable; they are sublime.... but will be an interesting moment when you handle one if you're used to Rolex/Tudor SS weights wink

Tried it on mate. The weight was one the the things that blew me away. The whole titanium case & bracelet, lightweight, snowflake dial and spring drive movement were amazing. Really impressive.

It's a WTF moment for sure.... the constant so smooth sweep of the seconds hand is the killer 'though

I was in Montego Bay airport recently, they’ve got loads of Tudor and Rolex SS sports models.

Really nice to see them all up close. The prices weren’t that great though.

Are these shortages just in the U.K.?

There is a waiting list on this particular Tudor and they are exchanging hands over RRP.

A bit like the black bay bronze, now they can be had at just over £2k.

Unsurprising given they are a mass-market item; as was the case with the BBB, the immediacy and novelty drove the mark-ups for those not willing to wait 2 years. Both still great watches regardless of the supply/demand economics smile
