I don't know if this is allowed under the forum rules but thought I would share. A kick starter company is looking to reproduce a copy of the Newmark Chronograph that was issued to RAF pilots in 1980. It definitely floats my boat so I have signed up with a pledge. I have no affiliation with the company but obviously the more pledges then the more chance there is of the watch being produced (so I can get one!).

I put my pledge in the minute the project went live on Kickstarter, the initial target of £25k was reached in something like 15min so enough has been raised to give the project the go-ahead already. The watches won't be made for another month or so and it won't be until the new year that they're sent to customers (need to pass QC between the two stages) however I don't mind waiting.
