The Visitor is very uniquely shaped. I like it very much especially the concave back, very clever. Enjoy.
In my semi drunken browsing state, I missed the size and thought it was 40mm. 44mm is far too big for me and would probably look a bit ungainly on me. frown
If you like a watch and it doesn't suit your wrist, eat more! I love it.

Been a bit uninspiring lately, the microbrand world, but have taken a liking to this and added myself to the waiting list for a Duneshore.

Keep thinking about a brass Magrette too. scratchchin
Magrette don't do brass any more. They did once when they were incorrectly supplied with brass cases rather than the bronze they were expecting. Their bronze watches are proper bronze now.
I have a brass Magrette....

Hi
I took a punt on the Marloe Morar last week and I am pretty impressed. Quality is spot on and the size suits me.

One for those who like their divers with a little restraint perhaps....

Cheers

This thread has died a bit of death.

Anyone got anything new or maybe a Kickstarter on order?

I'm waiting for the phantom calueche which has been dragging it's heels after a successful Kickstarter campaign.

I'm intrigued by the Formex Essence and the Creux Automatiq Diamondback.

Why do so many microbrands have rubbish names?

The dial on that Marloe Morar reminds me of the Citizen Orca a bit.

I've had a bit of a microbrand splurge over the last oh so f*ing tedious year.

I managed to get a Helm Vanuatu from them at my first attempt - Great watch.

Since then I've ordered these KS watches for delivery later in the year :

A Vario 1918 Trench watch.

A MMI Turret (I liked the date complication and the unusual finish on the bezel).

I've also pre-ordered this one (I'd missed out at the KS prices) :

A Dailos Waveform - I've been looking for a Titanium watch I liked at an affordable price for a while and I really liked the look of this one, especially with the Teal dial, so that's what's coming.

Oh, I forgot, one of these is en-route as we speak :

Xeric Halograph Chrono - A quartz watch as I thought the style was pretty funky, but I'm not sure how much I'll wear it and the quartz is only a couple of hundred quid.

Thanks to this thread I ordered a Marloe Morar Sands last week.

Received the watch a couple of days later and I’m really impressed with it. Packaging was really nice and included a silicone strap, nice little booklet explaining the history of the watch and a card with the watch details and serial number. Managed to get a serial number that’s the same as my sons day and month of birth which is nice as I bought it for my Son to have when he’s old enough.

Customer service from one of the owners (Oliver) was really good too.

Thinking of ordering a Coniston Steel for myself now

Me too!
Plus my brother is! Him of the Panerai, Rolex, Patek, JLC world! He's after one of the automatics with the neon accents.

Put a Barton silicone strap on mine which works pretty well.

My Xeric arrived this morning (7 days from California, pretty good) and I'm very pleased with it... (apologies for the blurry camera phone shot, it's very gloomy here today).

It is (unsurprisingly) a little hard to read at a glance, but I kind of expected that.

For a £200 watch it looks nicely made and certainly isn't much like anything else in my collection.

I really like their wandering hour watch, but I think it's a little expensive (justifiably so probably) for a novelty, the Halograph Chrono, on the other hand, is a bit of a bargain (although I have seen some nasty-looking knock-offs on Aliexpress).

Today's microbrand watch is the less well known Redwood field watch.

There's nothing really special about it, just a cheap quartz movement in what is probably an off the shelf case.

But I just love the simple dial design and the stealth look!
