It’s arrived; just got to wait for Mrs B to turn the other way before I unbox it.
She must be determined, watching you for 2 days?!?!? biggrin

I just acquired a Nodus Retrospect II.

Another NH35 diver, but very well made and regulated in 4 positions.

A notch above most of my other NH3* divers, I think.

Swap ‘determined’ for ‘potentially lethal’ and you’d be closer.

Looks a lot like Captain Cook, in all the good ways.

Thoughts:

Big and heavy
The finishing is just as good as the specifications (ie unbelievable)
Legibility and lume excellent
Bezel is super stiff
Feels like it would withstand nuclear attack

Looks good - I think I'll swap mine back to the black bezel sometime.

Wow they've gone up in price! I paid £180 I think for it just over a year ago. Nice watch for sure but I had to sell it on as it was wearing much bigger than the size on paper suggested on my wrist!

They're up to £295 I think on their own website. I looked on ebay and an authorised dealer accepted my offer for £250. It came on a beads of rice bracelet, but I put it on this cheap leather strap and I think it really suits it.

You don't do them yourself? That must be a PITA.

20+ years of rheumatoid arthritis means my fingers just can't cope with the tiny screws.

Normally it's a 5 minutes and £5 job but with lockdown he's been shut so I've got a few jobs waiting for him!

A good friend of mine has suffered with it for 25+ years. She's had two new knees and one hip, with the other hip due imminently.

You tend to get it more in your joints.

Just an hour or so ago I mentioned to the missus about how bad my hands were feeling today, really feeling tight and stiff whilst also burning sensation.

My watch guy though sorted me out yesterday and both my Reise and Zelos have been sized and on the wrist.

When I received the resolute I wasn't too sure about it due to how light it was but once I had it my wrist I was amazed at how good it felt and I love the design. The grey dial works perfectly with the shade of the case and bracelet.
