OK, first thing first, nice packaging, my wife really liked this when the box opened. (Bonus!)

On the wrist it really is as good as you thought, better in fact due to the detailing and after an evening's wear, it seems to get better and better.
First watch with a Miyota movement which seened to take a fair while longer to wind than other ETA or Sellita hand wind movements that I have. I'm rubbish at watch photos, but it's seriously photogenic.

If you're interested in one, go for it. Hard to believe you can get something that has such a good feel/look/rarity about it for £299 delivered. If you like watches, you will like this, that's the feeling you get about Marloe.

Seriously nice watch.

Blurry (too much wine laugh) lume pic, but you get the idea. smile

Greendubber, go for it!

To be critical, the leather strap was a little stiff, but haff an hour watchiing telly and massaging the strap cured it so it sits nicely on the wrist.

Been a bit uninspiring lately, the microbrand world, but have taken a liking to this and added myself to the waiting list for a Duneshore.

Keep thinking about a brass Magrette too. scratchchin

The Visitor is very uniquely shaped. I like it very much especially the concave back, very clever. Enjoy.
In my semi drunken browsing state, I missed the size and thought it was 40mm. 44mm is far too big for me and would probably look a bit ungainly on me. frown

Thinking of ordering a Coniston Steel for myself now

Put a Barton silicone strap on mine which works pretty well.

Just got an email from Marloe saying they're discontinuing the Morar range and have reduced the prices to £299, if anybody's interested:

Haven't bought anything for a while, but liked the look of these and went for the teal Solstice.

These are coming out soon from Stratton in lots of different colourways in automatic and meca-quartz versions.

Must admit, I do like the look of them:

One thing to factor with any of them is the unavoidable import tax you end up paying. Both got taxed on arrival, where as watches I've ordered from Creation Watches for example haven't been.
Yep, it's something you just have to factor in really. frown

Got knocked for £60 on my Relio Solstice a few months back, thankfully it's a firm favourite. smile
