Silly question but how do you know which are worth £300 and which are just ebay £5 specials and they're taking the piss because they can?

No, not a silly question at all.

I suppose it's down to reviews, recommendations, Facebook groups, WatchUSeek, research etc.

Found myself watching a full 25 minute video review of a Traska diver recently. That and written reviews convinced me that it's now in my want list. That's just a $375 watch.

Don't think many brands would last longer than five minutes knocking out £5 specials these days.
