Agreed. It's a completely unnecessary luxury item. It does no more than a £30 special from Argos will do.

I have a 116520 that I bought before the prices increased. I'll admit to a slight bewilderment at the current asking prices, but hey, why get more animated about it than many do about crippling house prices.

My point was in light of the title of this post!

A year ago they were being advertised at £16kish

When I saw these 2 eariier this week assumed they were a new stretch to how the market reacted, then one went quite quickly, when these things go, the next ones that come on are usually even more (as with the BLNR)

These look like great value compared to the SS. How can they be priced at such a discount? Appreciate this example is without box/papers but plenty available on C24 for a similar price with all docs.

It's also 12 years old. I don't profess to understand the Rolex adulation, but surely age has an impact?
