Breitling service + papers
Discussion
Had my Breitling Emergency 121.5 serviced recently at a UK authorised dealer £460 odd pounds but it came back with no paperwork.
Im sure in the past when it had been serviced it had a letter with a full description of what they did/replaced/test transmitter time etc.
I spoke to the shop and they said nothing was returned with it. They would chase this up.
A week later I get a Breitling business service card (like a normal business card) with just serial/date and next service. Again no letter detailing exactly what work was carried out.
Does this sound right?

When you get a Rolex serviced via an AD you get all sorts of stuff back to add to the watch’s provenance: outer Rolex branded postage box; green velvet travel pouch; plastic warranty card with date of service and 2 year guarantee; receipt; and itemised bill if stuff has been changed.
I’m surprised Breitling don’t do something similar.

You should get the business card and a receipt on Breitling letterhead paper. It won't have a full breakdown but it will say "full service / battery replacement - £460". I got mine done a couple of years ago before selling it on and I remember I got the service case, papers and the business card. That was from the Breitling store on Bond Street not long after it opened.Im sure in the past when it had been serviced it had a letter with a full description of what they did/replaced/test transmitter time etc.
