I was awaiting the ill-bred tasteless philistine's commenting so it's nice that the first comment is positive

You'll be in the minority with that comment on here, thumbup

The internet suggests that your watch is one of only 20 of that design and cost a rather healthy amount. I like it.

It is indeed one of twenty, We won't be vulgar and discuss costs apart from I wouldn't have been able to put a new DSSD on my wrist but could have put a new Hulk there wobble

Wore it on our x-mas work do …. As a factory worker … whilst on the pool table, it got the (positive) comment of "you do like your watches" … If i'd gone the DSSD/Hulk route I just know the comments would have been more (made in jest) negative,

I do like that more under the radar statement smile

Apart from the fun factor, there’s a great use of colour and contrasts that’s rare in a watch. Ok, it’s maybe not for every occasion, but I’d have one if I could.

Must admit I begrudgingly admire the RJ PAC MAN! Certainly not for me but I do love a conversation piece and it’s a million times better than your B+R monochrome one!

Did you not purchase an all black monochrome finished Bell and Ross watch last year?

Apologies, I'm getting the U-Boat confused with a B+R, my mistake, in my defence a customer I know well who has a B+R ha a U-Boat as well!

Yours was all black monochrome IIRC like the RJ but much less legible-did you keep it? I can't see both watches being in the same collection but it's all in the eye of the beholder I guess!

Unfortunately the U-Boat was a casualty of the great watch cull that occurred during 2018, A shame as when purchased I really liked wearing it, but as others came it's lure faded, … maybe I shouldn't add that the resell value was horrendous,
I'd like to get from 15 to 7 watches this year but wont be getting rid of todays offering thumbup

still the everyday, got a new movement end of last year.

And just so we have an answer should the question come up in Trivial Pursuit …. How much was a new movement smile
wear it on my right because i don’t like wearing watches on my left. but the buttons point is also true, i have one of those U Boats from when i was a kid and the winder wpuld dig into your wrist.

the cost? free thankfully. i got it about 2/3 years ago. it broke, got it serviced (£800) then it broke again twice since then so in the end they just replaced the movement. i’ll dig out the receipt but the cost is prob £8/10k
