Perfect. I love pretty much all of your watches.
That watch is stunning. Do you have any more pics? The strap looks interesting.

Not as naff as carbon fibre.

I'm a big Oris fan, but carbon fibre looks naff on everything, including cars.

That's the way to go with a Rolex, IMO. My Datejust was 36mm, which is very small by modern standards, what size are these more recent ones?

it's a 36mm. I've never liked big shouty watches so the simple understated style of this one is ideal for me.

The Chronoris has inspired me to go back a chunk of 70's style. '73 King Seiko for today:

I hate you! Would you trade it for a Boctok and a cheese sandwich? Don't have any pickle though so I guess that may be the clincher. scratchchin

Bought on a whim, drawn in by the dial colour. Polaris date on rubber. Very comfortable.

Looks lovely... more pics?

The strap looks near identical to the pattern on the Breguet Marine rubber.

I still think they are a great, sensible, solid 'do everything' watch.

The problem is the Rolex price lunacy and cynicism over the last few years. I got my first 16610 in 2003, and it was $2400 used. Sensible price.
These are OK, but the gold ones with the beveled ring are irredeemably naff. Aren't they?
I don't even recognize it to be honest, is it some sort of new Korean brand?

Depends on context.
When worn on a beach whilst you are holding a spear gun is very cool. But when worn with a suit for your desk job that you travel to by public transport it is, as you say, a bit naff.

I like that but the pic doesn't really show off the faceted crystal. Not sure which month has 118 days though.
