I do find it ever so slightly bulky given its height but I believe the ETA is better proportioned? It’s a very small niggle though and I do love it.

I have only ever worn my eta, but I do love the profile. Not too high, but takes up plenty of space on my wrist. Not like my Omega, which feels twice as thick, I sometimes feel silly wearing :-)

My ETA Smiley smiles back!! Photo from earlier this year. Got her on today but phone won't take a photo less than 2MB at the moment.

I'd be interested to compare the two, I admit I secretly covet the Rose as it's more exclusive but I think that's just wanting what I can't/don't have. It's odd; I find the BB as big as I'd like to go on my wrist but I wear a Garmin Fenix 5s a lot of the time which is appreciable bigger but that doesn't feel large, shows you really can't buy a watch on spec alone, there's no substitute for trying the thing on and seeing how you feel then

picture of the Garmin before I caught it on a tile in the bathroom and filed a very noticeable portion of the bezel down curse

Lovely watch but it's time you got rid of that damned blue sofa!

Ah okay, sounds similar to the GMT when I picked mine up to be honest.
There was one there a few weeks ago, sat ready to go with a price on it. Didn't realise these were on a wait list, but looks like you might get lucky if you pop in.

On the other side of the hall you have Bulgari and Chopard... I was having another go with the Alpine Eagle and the Octo. Not decided what to do for my next watch so its helpful having both in the same place!
Bulgari Octo, every day of the week.

Haha, it's a Seiko 'Think the Earth' WN-1 (northern hemisphere model). WN-2 is for the Southern Hemisphere. I just like quirky stuff sometimes.

The earth apparently turns and you tell the time by the one indicator marker. The instructions are in Japanese, so need to work it out.

It's also quite rare, so wanted something a little different.

Thanks :-)

We'll find out soon enough, it only arrived yesterday from the seller in Poland.

For someone who doesn't like attention, I tend to buy stuff that attracts attention, go figure !!!

Stunning! I know because I tried one on last Saturday. The colours are beautiful and just so happened to compliment the colour of the clothes I was wearing. I resisted temptation; maybe once I secure a new Pepsi first. The wait continues...
