Forum member mickyc79 kindly sent me the strap from his Chinese Paulareis watch, which as it turns out is a perfect match for my Seiko Prospex ‘Dawn Grey’.

Many thanks to Michael for his generosity.

You're very welcome... Glad it's a good fit! That frayed edge was annoying me... I hope you do something with it! Lol

Look forward to receiving your equally generous straps in the post over the holidays... I'll post some pics once I get the watch they're destined for.

All the best to all forum users. Hope you all have a great time! 👍🏻

After a 25 year wait and buying every model in the entire range that were surplus to requirements. Not to mention donating both my kidneys to my AD, I have finally been deemed worthy of the unobtainium, one of one, Rolex Philippe:

For those that are interested it is a automatic calibre 3546, perpetual, chiming, GMT, chronograph once worn by JFK.

Looks like a Swiss Unitas 6497 if its a manual wind? I have one in a Marina watch & it keeps damn good time & is very robust considering the lack of consideration from me ha ha

Been looking for a watch since my 50th in March, finally found one I like. Replacing a 32yr old Tag Formula 1.

Nice Laco. I had one like that, it kept perfect time.

They really are stunning value.

That just looks so nice. The older logo/font works far better than the current one on the Marine watches.

I have a variant of that (PO GMT) - they really are lovely watches. Got some proper heft to them and beautifully made. Enjoy! smile

I've been wearing the Orient Bambino for the last week. Might switch tomorrow.
