Been wearing this a lot lately. Just feels right.

If I ever purchased a Rolex that would be my choice, without the stickers though smile

I've tried various options but I think I have finally found a nice strap for the Alpinist.

Blue face Milgauss for me today, picked it up recently. I like it, I don’t think the quality of finishing is quite s good as my Grand Seiko’s but it is extremely comfortable to wear, the actual case design is really good for that.

Absolutely love these. Was looking at them a few years back but decided not to buy, which I regret now. Think they could have been had for around the £250 mark at one point, now they're into £300-400. Can't bring myself to buy one knowing that it was cheaper.

You'll be wanting for many watches then if you want to get one at the price it was a couple of years ago. Just get one. You wont regret it. The picture really doesn't do it justice.

You cannot tempt me! I've promised my next purchase to be an Explorer, and abstaining 100% until then

Recently picked this guy up and am madly in love with it. It needs a service as the register at 6 isn't resetting properly but otherwise its in great condition. Always wanted the Heuer 2447D...just took a while to find one! Swapped out the rally style strap which I've never been a fan of for this forrest green epsom calfskin strap. I'm slightly obsessed with green straps at the moment!

Sent off my Submariner back in November for repair/regulation - running slow. Got it back today do factory night shifts are more enjoyable, or should that be less unenjoyable...

I bought this particular watch from a stockist in Glasgow actually, although it was Rob at the boutique that told me it was there. Last one in the UK I think, I had no idea they were quite so rare (700 worldwide) when I bought it.

I’ve bought my other three GSes and my Credor from the boutique though, and I rate them really highly. They’re friendly and knowledgeable about the watches, and I like the policy of first come first serve with limited editions come in, it seems very fair.

Annoyingly, I neglected to put on a watch this morning.
Feeling rather naked now.

I loved mine, but unfortunately it got stolen. Wish they'd re-issue it in a slightly bigger size!
