Thanks, good to know!
Which colour did your friend go with? I like the black but also wonder if I could pull off the grey. The engraving on the back swung it for me, looks a great daily wear for the money.
He went for the white face, black sub dials, with grey strap. It looks really nice, but personally for me, the black face with black strap, or the grey face with brown strap are the nicest.Which colour did your friend go with? If I was forced to choose it would be the black face with black leather strap.

That's a chinese quartz movement in a standard square case that many car manufacturers sell as branded watches. I picked up a Toyota one with very similar hands and that movement about 5 years ago for £25 used so it was probably £60 in the dealer.
Miyota movement according to website, hope so anyway, just received one. Bought for £99 thanks to a tip off on the under £200 watch thread.for those interested, Roue have the blue faced TPS back in stock as well as 2 new colourways

i just ordered the blue one i was after originally. i'd prefer a more secure strap for work. is there such a thing as an affordable leather deployment clasp or else what colour NATO strap do you think would suit? the grey silicon on the site doesn't work with the blue/grey face imo.
