Thanks.
That's an interesting combination!
You have similar skin tone to me I think...the Rolex rose gold was made for us!
Agreed! Yellow gold is too brash against our skin. My wedding ring is rose gold too...That's an interesting combination!

As you both say, the rose gold suits my skin colour just perfect.
Hoping to get a sky dweller or day date in RG with the brown dial next.
2 years ago I wouldn't of even thought of them...funny how things change.

Modern Rolex are to be serviced at ten years not five.
My 23 year old sub has been serviced once , only because it stopped working. It’s worn every day.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Interesting leaks.
Return of hulk dial could well happen.
LHD switching around to a normal GMT could also easily happen.
Feels too early for real leaks just yet though, let's see in a week!

Those images have been on the web for a few weeks now. There's no chance they are real.
Of course one might turn out to be more or less a watch that is released but that would just be by sheer luck

Agree. And there's more to how someone 'carries' a watch than just their wrist size.
Whichever way you want to cut it, if the lugs are overhanging the wrist then it will look quite 'big' on you. Whether you care, like or dislike that is personal choice of course. Quite often on forums you see folk asking which model they should go with in the case of watches that come in different sizes and almost always I think watch where the legs aren't overhanging the wrists looks better personally. okgo said:

Watches always look bigger in photos than in real life due to foreshortening by the camera. This has been discussed at length on other threads. The way we take photos of them with a smartphone contributes to this, I think.Remember that Father Tes scene about big/far away? That, in an analogous way.
I have small wrists. I've have 43mm watches, I've worn 36mm watches. Have been happy with all. The only watch I own that I think is genuinely too big for me is a 43mm Christopher Ward Trident GMT, as it is big lug to lug, and very thick. Still has a place with a T-shirt and chunky trainers, as a deliberately oversized thing.
These are just jewellery. There's no "right way" to choose your ornamentation - depends on the look you are going for.

To some extent I agree. I think I even started a whole thread on it when I first got into watches a couple of years back.I was looking through the 'what are you wearing' thread and to me half the watches looked too big for the owners.
It was pointed out, as HF mentioned, that the way photos are taken often exaggerates the effect.
And in the end I thought...who am I to question if someone is happy with the watch?
Fashion means people wear all sorts of things and some people can pull it off.
Like when a couple of years ago there seemed to be a fashion of grown men wearing trousers tight enough to declare their religion that stopped two inches above their ankles. To top it off they didn't wear socks and had a pair of loafers on!!
Nowadays I see grown men on the street wearing sliders with socks...
