I’d have thought that would sort of thing would put most people off, but maybe not. It’s a shame, I always thought of Rolex as quite a conservative, sober choice, but it all seems to be going a bit rappy blingy.


I’ve pointed out before that in all the years I’ve worn rolexes, I have noticed little to no attention shown to them other than from the odd shop assistant when trying on other watches, so I am surprised by all of the attention they apparently draw now.

My AD has just been equally obliging with this exquisite piece. No fuss, no delay, no markup over list. Did have to buy him a packet of Quavers as a sweetener, but other than that, very smooth transaction. Air King en route next.

Also edited to add I was/am a customer I didn't just walk in off the street. My point being that you can seemingly have a relationship with an AD that isn't predicated on spending fortunes on other things that aren't as desirable.
