Prices crashing in Tokyo according to a poster on TZ-UK, a rather unique set of circumstances granted what with their political situation and the coronavirus outbreak but SS GMTs (Pepsi and Batgirl) are circa £10k once converted.
Batgirl in HK, asking 108,000
GMT LN asking 88,000

Expect to get 5-10% off after negotiation.

I am mad thinking about paying 12k for a 2019 unworn Batman GMT on the jubilee bracelet? I do intend to wear the watch not keep it unworn in a safe FYI

I think it’s the nicest GMT. Price sounds about right at current grey market prices. You might be able to save a couple of hundred quid, but I doubt you would get it much cheaper.

Proof if it were needed that the bubble hasn’t burst yet.

I dare say there are plenty in HK for £10k, but you have either got to fly over there and spend 2 weeks in a hotel room or post it and hope it turns up and if it does pay the greedy fkers at customs??

Not sure it would be worth my time after the cost of flying to HK and back.

I was there three weeks ago and went into four stores. No Stainless Steel models at all, same story.
Perhaps it's changed in the last few weeks but I doubt it.

Don't you just wear the watch and post the empty box back to your home address?

There probably is ... but these are not AD's and I presume not being sold at RRP?

No, I was going into official stores, I wanted a new one from an official outlet. I don't have the ability to spot a decent fake (or a bad one) so I stay away from second hand stores.

Yes you can do that, but do you fancy going to HK at the moment and maybe getting put in a isolation camp for two weeks!! Then you have to get there and back for less than the price here and over there? And lastly why the fk would anyone want to go to that crap hole unless you have to!!! Lol

Oh I agree on those points laugh

Was just saying I wouldn't bother doing it (plus going through all extra that hassle) if it meant getting pulled for customs duty too..
