Ahh I'd been looking for the SOTC thread...

Bit of a mixed bag...

Speedy / Undone / Seiko / Casio / Casio / Parnis / Parnis / Steinhart / Seiko / Junghans

What would I add?

A superocean heritage II - blue face please.
A pelagos.

A white faced diver of some sort....

Hi Dan, welcome smile

This didn't start out with 'SOTC' in mind but it has turned into a nice place to share.

I can thoroughly recommend the Superocean Heritage. Have you looked at the new blue '57 Capsule? It wears so, so well. I posted a review somewhere which I'll dig out if you're interested?

Thanks Rich - I've seen the capsule... something doesn't work for me though... I think it's the bezel. Reminds me alot of the Rado Captain Cook too.

I'm a big fan of the Heritage though, particularly on the milanese... sadly it has to be the 42mm tho as I have girly thin wrists!

These four tell a similar story.
Animal W001 was given to me by my parents on my 14th birthday. Animal 038 I treated myself to when I passed my first year Uni exams. The TAG F1 was for my first manager role, and the SOH was my next promotion!

I like the Animal W001. I bought one of them with a red dial in 1999. I got it in sale for £30 because by that time they had been around for about five years. I think it had had been lying around the shop for ages and was the only one left so I was delighted to pick it up for that price and in my favourite colour. I still wear it now and it has been faultless over the last twenty one year's worth of mountain biking, swimming, running and all sorts!

The 42mm SOH is a great size on me, can thoroughly recommend.

The original Superocean had the concave bezel, and pre dates the Rado. Lots has been said about what inspired either, and I won't re-hash it again here!

In person, the modern versions are quite different. Both are worth a try if you haven't already, but the Breitling is quite a lot nicer IMV (albeit for a chunk more cash).

Any thoughts please share. Any questions just ask. This thread has been pretty friendly (so far).
When you say add to your collection, what's the current state of affairs?

Latest addition is a Bergeon 6825

There's a 7825 in the post for Rolex strap removal too. The Sub is going on a NATO ASAP.
