Great collection. Obviously there's much "better" stuff in the collection but the two that catch my eye are the Seiko great blue hole (is that right?!) and the Oris 65 on the bracelet. Would appreciate your thoughts on those two.I reviewed both for my youtube channel
Here is the Seiko review https://youtu.be/8pzuOvGI_Q0

One of the nice things about the Pistonheads watch collection thread is that there genuinely is no rivalry or competition. Anything goes it seems!
Thanks for that It's just as well The top row far right is a very very cheap generic watch branded "Bass Pro Shops" (hunting, shooting, fishing stores in the USA) bought for the princely sum of £17.65 in 2019. The one next to it is an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra bought used last year - from the ridiculous to the sublimeBarchettaman said:

Comparison is the thief of joy and all that. Seeing different tastes, and how tastes change over time, is interesting at any price point I reckon. bazza. said:
Yep your correct I'm a big fan of both watches if I had to pick only the one I think it would be the Oris

While I’m here…
Bit of a mixed bag cost-wise but enjoy them all pretty much equally. Coke obviously my most special, moonwatch currently on its Uncle Seiko 1450 strap. Next to that is my grandad’s gold Rotary watch from 1973 I think. It’s tiny but in the right environment it is lovely to wear.
Armani watch I bought when I got my first proper job after leaving school and I wore it every day for probably 13/14 years. Still with the same company 19 years later so feel bad getting rid of it (even though I appear to have broken it by trying to change the battery myself - kind of think I should get it fixed but also think what’s the point).
Bottom row are my (mainly) blacked-out Casios which I love. F91 has been relegated to the handle bars of my Monster! Seiko on the side I love and probably wear the most.
Collection is small but I have loads of alternative straps, bracelets, natos which really helps to mix things up.

I like the customised SKX personally
THanks,It's a custom build from Ben at CS Watches. My first automatic watch and the first of three that I bought in the last 12 months. Followed it with the Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium and finished off with the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra. Apart from these three, the others have all been bought while I've been on holiday.

How do you rate the US bracelet? I am tempted by a few of them. I have one of theirs for my Pogue and it's ok, but not amazing.
I really like it. This particular one has solid end links which probably helps the perception of quality. Clasp is just pressed though. Wouldn't describe it as amazing but definitely better than ok.lostkiwi said:
Ok....
A quick summary:
3 x Graham Chronofighter
Longines Avigation A7 (limited edition release from 5 years or so ago).
Longines Evidenza chronograph.
Magrette Bronze (original brass release)
Magrette Kara 10th anniversary limited edition titanium.
Bulova Lunar Pilot
Bulova Military Heritage
2 X other Bulova - one automatic one quartz.
Citizen Red Arrows chronograph on black leather.
Panerai 111
Panerai 288
Panerai 308
Omega Seamaster (1972 vintage)
Omega Geneve (1968 vintage)
Omega Railmaster
Bell&Ross BR01
Bell&Ross BR02
Mühle Glasshutte Big 29er
Christopher Ward C8 vintage flyer
U-Boat Flightdeck (what a beast that is).
Hy Moser chronograph monopusher (c1901).
2 x vintage Gruen (c1930)
Numerous miscellaneous Seiko, Lorus, Accurist etc.
The most worn of all is the Magrette Kara followed by the Panerai 111 and Bulova Military Heritage (I have a preference for cushion cases).
It's taken many years to collect and I very rarely sell anything. The only two I've sold in the last 10 years are a Seamaster 300 quartz and a Speedmaster Reduced. Really regret letting them go.
Nice to see what is a genuine collection devoid of the Rolex which always see the focus of the get rich quick brigade.A quick summary:

I've got 7 Rolex models in my collection and most I've had for a fair few years now so not every guy who has them Is part of your get rich quick brigade chap

Amazing! That is one serious obsession! But how do you use them all? Cant be that often because I couldnt spot more than a couple on the same time, so I guess you must have a "daily" and use the others infrequently.
I wear each one in rotation so every day a different watch one day it may be Rolex next a Seiko 5 Fascinating thread this. Interesting to see the different themes and in particular that most of the collections arent simply about investment if indeed that figures at all. The G shock collection is almost a bit of modern art.
Wonder what is is that gets us started on collecting an item? My father had a coin collection but only British pennies. I have a small collection of pot piggy banks that my wife curses every time she has to polish them. Cant even begin to give you a reason why I collected them.
I came into this forum when I was idly thinking of treating myself to a Rolex but Im not interested enough in watches to start a collection of them. Now piggy banks are different!
