My old Delfin was great. I sold it because I happened to choose the Marinemaster more often in similar circumstances.

I have a long list of past watches. I may do a photo thread of ones I've sold along the way.

That's an awesome selection T6! Got a lot of bases covered in a very personal way. Love it.

Thanks Rich,
A lovely collection you have too ….. congrats on the new GS, was looking at a GS myself but picked up a SPS001 (brand new from AD but a 2007) wobble instead …. Still a spring drive

With the BB out the collection looks a bit like this:
I’ve commented already on your new GS but it really is nice.

But what’s caught my eye now is the OP 39mm white dial. How do you find that? I fancy a white dial watch and feel that one could be very versatile. Bet it takes a nato strap well.

Thanks for the detailed reply. I had gathered that about the dial, not the same sort of "white" as the E2 polar dial. And I'm sure all the better for it in a dressier watch.

One white dial watch I particularly like is the Omega Constellation Globemaster. That also ticks the boxes of display back and co-axial movement. The other one is the new Cartier Santos that comes with the additional tan leather strap. But I'm not sure roman numerals are "me". The OP is definitely the safe choice and I mean that in a good way.

I'll post a photo of my little collection to stay on topic...

Sorry for multiple posts, only know how to upload photos from my phone!

Top left is an Armani watch I must have bought 17 years or so ago when I started my first proper job. I wore that almost every weekday for the next 14 years I bet.

The next two are my pride & joy; a 16710 GMT Master II with coke bezel. Also have a RubberB for it. And my Moonwatch, currently on a black leather nato (that watch just seems to go with any strap).

Top right is a 1970s Rotary that I inherited from my grandfather. Don't know much about it but it is very small and made of gold, neither of which are particularly my cup of tea. However, for a formal occasion it is a nice thing to wear.

Bottom row has an obvious F91-W and the unobtainable wink blacked-out GA2100. I also have the blacked out 5600 but a mate has nicked that for the time being.

Last watch is the latest Seiko Monster which is on another aftermarket nato which I think suits it nicely.

I've been hanging around this little corner of PH for around 10 years or so yet I'm pretty sure I have never posted a SOTC, if I have it would have been in my formative years back when the SOTC was somewhat smaller than it is now...

So, here we have my current motley crew. Some get more use than others with a few barely even registering on the ownership scale such is their lack of wrist time however here they are in all their glory.

Top row: Newmark 71 - Newmark 6BB - Stowa Marine Original - Stowa Flieger - Monta Oceanking
Bottom row: Citizen NY0040 - Omega Geneve Dynamic - Seiko SKX (very heavily modified!) - Seiko SBBN031 - A-13A

SOTC

Top row: Tudor 36BB - Tudor Pelagos - Grand Seiko SBGX063 - Grand Seiko SBGA003 - Damasko DC67Si
Bottom row: Sinn EZM13 - Sinn 104 St Sa ABE - Sinn 556i Mocha - Damasko DA36 Black - Damasko DA44

SOTC

And the only watches practising social distancing: Raketa - Seiko SBPG001 - G-Shock GW3000 - G-Shock GW-5000-1JF - G-Shock GW-M5610-1ER

SOTC

Cardshark: you've made me miss my Darth Tuna!
Also, the BB36 is excellent. Does it get out much?

I have been hanging around watch corner on here for many years and there have been three or four consistent posters who post watches that constantly chime with my taste - CardShark being one - so it’s nice to see the whole collection smile

I have to say I still think that Stowa MO stands out as my absolute all-time favourite of yours. You could put it next to vintage Subs and 5711’s and I would still take the Stowa.

Mine currently resembles this.

Been on a real Seiko kick the last 2 years but I’ve pretty much ticked off what I want.

May be time for some consolidation.

Some amazing collections here especially vanman and Mr Tims whose photos are amazing. Here's my collection (excluding a daily seiko and Suunto) although some bought for my boys when they get older...

Omega Chronostop Driver was my dad's and given to me at 18 and what got me into watches

De Ville given to me by my wife on our wedding day

The Speedmaster mkII Rio will go to my eldest as he was born during Rio Olympics

Seamaster will go to my younger son as it's a birth year watch for him. Last year of the previous seamasters before they went back to wave dials.

Fifty Fathoms.
