No velcro straps anymore & I tried both the watches I have with divers extensions - still too small.

Anyway, took the big dressing off today, so I thought I'd treat myself to something a bit special.

Stunning! That needs to be my next one! Have tried one on (ultra comfortable) but was buying another at the time; didn’t want to appear greedy and buy both...(or more truthfully, didn’t want to end up in the spare room for a month!!)

Excellent return to form there Andy!

A little disappointed you didn’t scribble a watch on your bandages out of desperation smile
You're disappointed? I was going to offer to look after one or two of Andy's collection whilst he was infirm.

Just thinking of the watches welfare, Andy biggrin

That looks like it's seen a few years of sterling service,

How old and what diameter?

its about 4 years old - worn every day. Needs a good clean and a service but it doesn't miss a beat

Think it was bought in 1987 but I remember it was £19:99 and from an AD (Argos)

You laugh but a quick check on Chrono24 indicates my £20 investment
https://www.chrono24.com/seiko/vintage-day-date--i...
Now has a return of $385

Which is better than my other 80's investments of a Jim'll fix it badge and Set of three personalised drawings by Rolf Harris biggrin
