I have a seawolf in Cobra yellow, It suits the bracelet, black rubber and a lighter brown leather strap.

Great choice (but I’m biased) !

My Grandads old sekonda- I don’t know much about it other than I dare say it didn’t cost much when he got it 😂 nato strap added by myself rather than the elastic/stainless steel thing it was on.

I love the Visodate, I put mine on Milanese mesh, it really suits it.

That’s rather tempting, I’ll have a look into them, would completely change the feel I’d imagine.

Really nice! And without the unnecessary power reserve most of their models are encumbered with

Yes - beautiful.

GS have (to simplify somewhat) 5 types of movement in their watches: quartz, automatics (28,800 vph), high beat automatics (36,000 vph), manuals and spring drive.

The only ones that normally carry the power reserves on the dial are the Spring Drive models.

The one pictured is a quartz, so wouldn't have any use for a power reserve.

There's a nice article about it here: https://timeandtidewatches.com/hands-on-quartz-but...

I love this watch

Now back on a rubber strap, deployment this time after a couple of years on a bracelet.

Have had the Cermit for a week now, it's got its desk surfing marks so it's going back in the box for a rest. At the moment it feels too small after having worn this primarily for the last 10yrs. I recall trying on a SS Daytona and forgoing opportunity (woe is me) as it felt too cramped with the multiple dials.

Sky Dweller in blue next on 'the list', and then when school fees are a distant memory, a Day Date.....

Thought I'd get this out of hibernation. Had a bit of time off sorting the house and the Tudor has been in action. Back to the office tomorrow and fancied a change.
