That looks great. It’s very elegant but also a bit toolwatch like.

You can show different time zones on it that you select with the pushers?

Just checked it out, Looks a bit out of my budget. Might stick to my gmt 2 for a bit longer hehe

It is a bit pricy - assuming you can actually find one.

I have admired this watch for a long time - chiefly because of the very simple and clever GMT function. I did buy an Aquanaut, but never wore it as it was a bit too small and dainty. I sold it at a very decent profit and bought a Sky Dweller - which I'm happy with.

The Vacheron Overseas Dual Time is another one that is on my list - they've used the same type of GMT arrangement with a GMT hand that tucks away when not being used.

Still love the Patek travel time.... it could be a 'one watch', if you were brave enough!

I think a Patek Aquanaut is one of the least brave buys going!

I meant brave for a 'one watch' - gardening, ocean swimming, golf, office i.e. never take it off. Many Patek owners, for entirely sensible reasons, tend to baby their watches.... that's what I meant.

Ah, gotcha.

I wear it to work, or out anywhere, but I wouldn’t be gardening or washing the car in it!

Every watch collector (or admirer) is different - it's what makes the subject so interesting.

My very first proper watch was an Ebel steel on a bracelet, it felt sooo expensive at the time. I loved that watch - it was nicked in a burglary unfortunately. But from then on I was hooked!

Over the past few years my interest has been in sports watches - rubber or bracelet, steel or gold - but watches that you never need to take off. Finding a single watch to cover every eventuality has been impossible, but fun and my Aquanaut, I thought, might have been it. Currently it's a Sky Dweller.

Patek Travel Time? Yup, that's on the list... I'd like to try one on to see if it feels a big bulkier (my preference) than the Aquanaut. I suspect it would be an expensive experiment!

As mentioned in the "Incoming" thread, I've just taken delivery of this special order from Damasko.

it's their DC80 - a central minutes chrono - which comes as standard with chrono hands either in white (too indistinct to my eyes) or bright orange or green (too garish to my eyes). The standard models also come with a count down bezel and more baton-shaped hour / minute watch hands.

I asked them to make one for me with red chrono hands (and red bezel 'pip), an hour counter bezel (so I can use the chrono to count seconds, minutes and hours) and to replace the baton hands with sword-shaped watch hands (just better aesthetics IMHO).

I'm very pleased with the result.

The red has a bit more pop in real life - photo not great quality.

Thanks,
It's a Longines Evidenza I bought in Prague for my birthday 6 years ago. My other half took me there as a surprise birthday present which ended up being very expensive by buying two watches - this for me and an automatic woman's Tag Formula One for her.

It's extremely comfortable to wear as it has a concave back which fits the wrist perfectly.

From memory 2014 or 2015?
Looks to still be current.

Apparently based on a combination of 1911 style case and 1925 face and hands.
