Citizen do a range of solar powered dive watches, so you don't even have to worry about changing a battery. This one looks nice in titanium.

I really wish you hadn't posted that. I like it. I like it a lot.

Another vote for Citizen eco-drives and this in one in particular is lovely and a bargain:

Citizen Promaster EcoDrive, all day long.

As issued to the Royal Navy.

Lovely things.
Thanks for this, had a look and one metaphorical trigger has been powerfully pulled.

Another +1 for an Eco-Drive,
I have one on the windowsill "just in case"

However as an option (I've bought from this US shop before smile )

Just for closure...

I was very tempted by the Eco-Drives. Very, very tempted.

However the Christoper Ward delivery date changed from ‘mid-feb’ to ‘late-Jan’ so this arrived today. First impressions are very positive, even on my skinny-girl wrist.

It’s 43mm - bigger than I would normally go but looks / feels just about right.

Yeah it looks great, enjoy!

CW had good sale on recently but I had to resist as I've got a wedding to pay for.....I'd rather have a watch than put some wedding favours on tables but it wont wash with the Mrs.

a vote for the underpants watch here (known as such due to the 12 marker)

had mine best part of 20 years, its my holiday, mountain bike, motorbike, ski'ing watch and has been to the bottom of the sea with me on numerous occasions too

and it's an Automatic, lovely bit of kit, highly recommended

EDIT - just noticed you wanted a Quartz getmecoat

EDIT, EDIT - noticed you bought the Christopher Ward, cant go wrong there looks lovely cool

I really hope you enjoy this as I was waiting for ages to get one of these, but kept holding out for the summer / winter sale and then either the right one wasn’t marked down or I found something else to spend the money on. It was this thread that brought up the citizens which then proved to be a bargain at £179 so I got that bought instead.

Probably a bit late to suggest, but these are a bargain

I've been looking at these along with divex and apeks. They all seem to offer no nonsense great value dive watches at very reasonable prices.
