This started out as a SKX171 and has had the following -
4R36 movement
SARB059 crown and stem
SKX007 bezel and insert
SARB059 hands
Crystal Times domed sapphire
Strapcode Jubilee bracelet
Drilled lugs for easy strap changes
I also have a spare bezel with a stainless insert for when the mood takes me.
Was hoping to have one to show you today but the DG3804 movement I used is a bit fragile. I buggered up the keyless works while pressing the stem release button too hard. Not too difficult to fix but I broke the seconds pinion (0.17mm) when removing the hands to get to it.
Anyway, have a new one on the way from cousins so shouldn't be too long.

I would buy all of these - they all look superb.
Agree - the last one looks especially brilliant. If you like the above you should check out Lume Shot on Youtube. He builds Seiko watches and his Bloodmoon special is a similar look.

Hi, great looking watch, have looked at the Bliger cases before, great that you can put a Seiko movement in there. What is the quality like though?
Mark
Quality is ok. It’s not up to Seiko standards but they are around 1/6th the price.Mark
The bezel has a nice solid rotation to it, the crown screws down and the cyclops is decent.
I haven’t tested water resistance, but with it being a cheap Chinese case I wouldn’t trust it.
I’ve got this one and another case ready for my next project.
I like them as they are quite comfy and to be honest they were just as well as my Rolex, can’t believe I’m saying that!

What would you recommend as a good base for a build ? I was looking at SKX007 or 009, but I have not found a good base. I do like the offset crown of the Seiko.
Thanks
Paw
What sort of look are you going for? If you love the SKX case shape then a Sharkey / Heimdallr homage would be a good bet to start off with. Thanks
Paw
$149
Getting hold of a new SKX is going to cost you over £200 and the homage has sapphire crystal and a better movement (NH35).

Thanks for the info, a Seiko Skx007 is a bit big for my skinny wrist so at 40mm it's about as big as I go. I was going to build a ground up SKX013 in black PVD, but I have a modded one of those already, so the Bliger case would be a bit different and certainly cheaper. The bezel has a nice solid rotation to it, the crown screws down and the cyclops is decent.

I have posted some of my mods and builds on the under £200 watch thread but will repost here if I get a chance.
Here is my first build in the second run, all my first ones were stolen in a burglary a couple of years ago.
Vostok 120847 Amphibia in a 710 ministry case, with brushed case and S/S crown, Dr Seikostain hour and minute hands, second hand is for a Chinese Seamaster clone for a Miyota movement, ceramic bezel insert and strap from China off ebay and bezel from a guy in the Ukraine.
Really pleased with the colour match of the bezel and strap, which was a total fluke.
