Wish I had the patience or skills for mods. Would love this with Mercedes hands and red second. Would make a great affordable alternative to an Explorer 1.

Yeah that would be a cool mod with maybe hands like these? Just with a red seconds hand

very cool were did you find that hand set ?
SR Watches on Instagram, they don’t seem to have a website, you just dM them, they are based in Hong Kong. I’ve ordered a dial and some hands, which I’m waiting to arrive. Only ordered on Friday though.

I use Sr Watches very frequently, very good but can take a while to arrive.

My latest mod. A SRPC49 inspired SKX diver.

Agree, these new Seiko 5 40 mm versions look great and would benefit from some subtle modifications!

I'd like a explorer type dial and rolex hands!

Very talented!

Does anyone sell modded watches?
Got a couple of seiko divers and would love one a bit different to the norm.

Edit to add :

Found lumeshot- love the blood moon mods.

Four forty four pm - nice watches - no international shipping.

That is really lovely! Great work.

Good to know you’ve used SR before, he did say it could take a while as I believe the dials are made to order and I’ve asked for something very specific.

Oh that looks tremendous, well done! I'll have a look at SR watches as I've not heard of them before.

Thank guys I really appreciate that! I'm really proud of this one. It's got a great feel to it in the metal.

After foolishly letting a Ninja Turtle go a couple of years ago (prices are silly now) it seems like redemption, plus I don't care if I give it a knock and damage the PVD .. Well not as much anyway!

Wearing my modded skx031 today. Bought this off eBay in a very poor state.

I performed a deep clean, regulated the movement, added a new polished chapter ring, new crystal, new bezel insert and an oyster style strap.

It’s my take on if Seiko made a Kermit.

Built this for a friends Birthday present. He likes his mismatching of colours.

Need to take the bezel off and re do however as it’s doesn’t turn at the moment.

I’ll get better pics once if finished it, also to show the purple AR on the sapphire crystal

Yep I have a 3pm Explorer Comex in the works. It was originally supposed to be 3pm but the supplier sent me the wrong case!
