Tissot Visodate

This is almost spot on, I can't see past the logo, just don't look right
Yep same here I love a Tissot but couldn't buy this one.

Seiko does a presage that looks strikingly similar to that Tissot:

Just within budget as well.
I own a Presage and they're beautifully made watches.

In your budget I bought a Magrette Leoncino, but out of production now and they mainly do dive watches.

Personally I don't mind it. It's a retro styled watch and thus seems fitting to have the original Tissot Logo on it.

Muhle Glasshutte Blue Panova, normally for sale for the £990 mark in the UK, but I've seen them on Chrono24 for under £700 from Italy. Nice looking watch. smile

Agreed. Shame really as the quality is superb.
Still, makes them cheaper for those in the know wink

This is a 2nd generation dynamic as it has a polished rather than a starburst case. Sold from '72 to the mid 70's I think. This one is gold capped, I think they look much better in stainless. You should be able to get a stainless one with a bracelet in budget if you are (very) patient. Or quite quickly if you can spend £700.

There are many dials available. This is a blue-silver-blue bullseye. To my mind the pick of the crop. Be wary of redials, in this one, you can clearly see the sunburst dial brushing through the blue lacquer. The redials use opaque paint.

Just to complete the thread, this is the first of 2 deliveries, the second being a prospex save the ocean

I'm really pleased with this, pictures on the Web look good but in the flesh is even better.
