2020 Tudor release

Now announced - https://www.tudorwatch.com/en/watch-family/black-b...
Nothing we don't know already from the leaked pictures other than the other strap options.
Interesting that they've gone for a "soft touch" option rather than leather as found on the original 58.
That said, the blue soft touch option is probably the way I would sway if adding a 58 along side my original one on a steel bracelet.

Meh disappointed.
The renders I had seen made me think the dial indices did not have a gopping metal surround ruins a dive watch IMHO
I don'y mind white gold or similar markers but they just jar with the snowflake hands. The square plots like the Pelagos would have been more traditional. The renders I had seen made me think the dial indices did not have a gopping metal surround ruins a dive watch IMHO
The lack of crown guards looks odd too.
I really really really like the BB Bronze on the jacquard strap - does anyone have one? I want to know what they look like when worn in. Tudor talk about them developing an aged patina that reflects your wear. What does this really mean?
My question I suppose is does it go from being a really cool looking divers with a nice patina, to a rough looking watch on a saggy fabric strap?
I have had a couple of divers on NATO straps before, and they end up swinging annoyingly like a pendulum from a fabric strap with a stretched buckle hole.

I owned the original BBB for 18 months and this is how it looks once the patina sets in. The nato strap that the watch came with started wearing out 6 months of daily wear so I swapped it out for an Erika's Originals Nato (which also worn out after 8 months). I think due to the weight of the bronze case, the watch feels a bit top heavy on a nato strap so the lugs were rubbing off the strap causing it to fray. I didn't wear it with the thick leather strap much as the whole watch felt a but too heavy to wear - in the end I sold it and bought a Tudor Pelagos LHD which suited daily wear more.My question I suppose is does it go from being a really cool looking divers with a nice patina, to a rough looking watch on a saggy fabric strap?

The more I look at vintage Tudor Submariners the more I want one
There was that photo of one alongside this new BB and it just looked so cool...
I have a 1974 snowflake sub. Bought it 10 years ago or so at bonhams. It’s a nice watch. Feels quite small these days. Not an ever day wear as it’s now worth about 5 times what I paid for it There was that photo of one alongside this new BB and it just looked so cool...
