My brand new, first and likely only Rolex (it’s the only one I ever wanted) arrived today.
I last tried one on in Hong Kong about 2 years ago, and I’d completely forgotten how utterly perfect, beautiful and dinky it was. I was worried, looking at pictures online it was going to be too big/wear too large for what I wanted, but I’m absolutely over the moon with it. Ecstatic. It’s never leaving my wrist. Awesome excuse my scabby wrists from gardening this weekend...
Pictures just do not do it justice whatsoever.. .
Excellent choice sir, I bought my first and possibly only Rolex this time last year actually (day before lockdown!). And it happens to look very similar to yours I last tried one on in Hong Kong about 2 years ago, and I’d completely forgotten how utterly perfect, beautiful and dinky it was. I'm still ridiculously precious about it, only wearing it for special occasions so far, not helped my lockdown of course, hoping to change that when things open up more this year.
Had mine on all over the long weekend and it's picked up a few scratches already despite being careful with it - but actually deep down that's what I want really, and once i'm over the "shiny new expensive thing" stage I can be free to enjoy it non stop and let it evolve it's own scruffy appearance - that's what these Explorers are for
This chap's done a recent 5 year review of his 39mm MK1 version and it looks pretty good somehow all scuffed up and dulled.

Enjoy yours

Picked this up awhile ago, I dont know an awful lot about it other than its a Victorinox Swiss Army – 24464 – SAF F/A 18 Chronograph, what makes this one a little rare apparently is that it does without the Swiss Army Cross as 3 o'clock, instead it simply says 'Swiss Arm', this model was made specifically for the UAE Market and online its supposedly collectable.. I don't know about that but i do really enjoy wearing it, it has a Valjoux 7750/Date
Its 40mm which surprisingly to me doesn't appear too big for my wrists, its fairly heavy but i do enjoy wearing it

For the last week or so, need to wear the strap in so it's a little more 'distressed' to match the bronze body and the brass buckle that I refined with an angle grinder
Thought it was but then the branding looks to be different so is it a standard trident bronze?

Stopped being precious with it when I got a heavy scratch on the bezel early on.
Not sent it for a service yet, think I will wait till it starts losing time.
Wear yours in good health

I do have a hankering for one of these underpants models.I particularly like the crown being on the other side - I often find the crown uncomfortable when it faces towards the wrist on dive watches.
42mm too, so not crazy large.
Must resist.

Excited about a new Stowa bronze Flieger currently being made so today is a Flieger day in anticipation.
Please feel free to post some photos of the Stowa when it arrives; that’s a bit of a Grail watch for me and up to now I’ve only seen the publicity shots!Did you go for the personalized engraving?

It's frustrating I found as pretty much nobody has a proper set of photos of this watch online and there isn't even a decent review lol. I know it's only been out a few months but usually the big watch channels get them in and you get a slew of reviews. Maybe I can be the first for a change and get some youtube views Did you go for the personalized engraving?
I only opted for the Fl 23883 engraving on the side of the case which IMO every Flieger from the original 5 brands should have, just slightly annoyed Stowa charge 60 Euros for it whereas it was free on my Laco! Their customer service is spot on though, very helpful and responsive.
Will certainly post pics don't worry!
